Well, that is the "fair" way of doing it, but it is your controller and you are entitled to sell it to whomever you please.
Chips above post is a tad confusing and contradictive to what we spoke about earlier, so maybe you could clarify for everybody.

I for one would certainly appreciate the "fair" method....

I cant promise anything right now but if the dealer treats me right on a 2015 I will be selling mine( of course I will have to have my new truck before I sell )

OF course the owner can do whatever he wants withhis item, but generally in ALL of my buy or sells through internet forums, it is a courtesy that the first person to respond gets first chance to buy and only if (s)he does not come through with funds does it go to the next person in line. And so on and so on. That being said, I know for a fact that Chipster is on the road with limited internet access, so that might explain some of the confusion.
