Colorado Springs, CO "wrench day"

OOPS! :D Currently under construction... Goerend Brothers Tripple Disc converter and rebuilt transmission. Should be done again tonite or tomorrow.

Actually we got it all together on sat... drove it... . and broke the

input shaft hub/drum. Spun the splines and cracked it in 3 places... . almost literally in half. I'll have pics of that hopefully tonite. (if I can remember my Digital Camera)

Josh

Even after that... . rebuild... rebuild... etc... . I'm still gonna take a whack at sled pulling with Turbo Tweeker! Who's with me?

Common guys! If I'm gonna take a chance... . you should too! That's where all the fun is! I'll even help fix anything you break!

Josh

I hope some will give a pull a try, our snowmobile club sponsors one in Sept. Would love too see more than 1 CTD pull the Wild Rose. We had 6 Duraslackers there last year, ya guess what won?

transmission looks good Josh. Them parts for sale?... ... ... ... . lol.

I'd love to try, but my truck is just too heavy. There's no way, on a good day that I'd be able to weigh in at less than 7200 lbs. Maybe if I took off every other lug nut...

I am trying to get the weight class for ours, I want to say it is 8200. I will post as soon as I find out. I know the diesel class was split into 2 classes for this year, a stock and non stock class.

pullin,

Arron if you take that tank/toolbox out of the back you should be around 7200 no problem. Josh on the other had may need to go on a diet. COME ON GUYS WE NEED PULLERS, dont need what happend to spicyjam to happen this time. i got 2 trucks for sure and mabey josh if his truck lasts that long. WHO IS WITH US?

Ya might be right, but it all depends on when the pull comes around. That thing is a righteous pain in the rear to remove and install. To say nothing about how hard it is to pull outta there when it's got lotsa fuel in it.

With 1/3 tank and my fat arse, I weigh in at 8020#. Full of fuel, I can guess that I weigh in at 8600. At least.

I just got too much junk in it and I don't want to spend hours and hours taking stuff out and putting it back in. But I'll still pull if I can.

I figure I could always pull backwards... ... the front bumper can handle it!

Josh

PS So we have a running count of 17ish for the weekend of the 8th... which is just over a week away... who else is commin?!

I would love to pull. But?

We have lots of pulls on the west side of the cities.

New Germany

Waconia

Winsted

Arlington

Hutchinson. Two days this year.

Lots of strokes & maxes. Never any Dodge boys. :(
