OK Gentlemen! Who's comming? We need to be properly prepaired. I can't walk into the grocery store figuring for 20, when 50 are comming. Speak loud and proud now. The tool guy stopped by talking about the gathering. He doesn't have a CTD. Everyone is welcome, but I gotta have an idea of how many we are dealing with so we get enough.

Count me in. Just out of curiosity, I have my old set of tires/rims laying around, should I bring them along for burn out tires? Just a thought in case some one wanted to provide some entertainment and didn't want to burn up their good rubber

Thank ya Wally, you are my hero!!!!!!!!!!! I am missing my truck already, it is down at the dealer getting a LP put in. Noticed it wasn't (pulling any fuel) when I tried to purge the air after I changed my fuel filter. Get this, for a loaner they gave me a '04 PT Cruiser, lol it at least has a turbo.

I've been summoned to attend. So I will be there. No matter what condition my truck is in. It looks like I will be taking the company car. But that's not so bad. The fuel is free.



Guys, what tool's do I need to bring, or will everything be provided? For injectors, we will need an in-lb torque wrench, 3/4 in. crows foot (or stubby wrench), regular torque wrench, various metric sockets, dental pick (or small screwdriver), regular 3/4 wrench, and maybe a few other things. If an o-ringing is planned, we will need a depth micrometer, 12 in. machinist's rule, feeler gauges, inside micrometer (or some other way to measure fire ring diameter).



I appreciate the offer to load my truck on a trailer and bring it up there to get fixed, but if the engine is trashed, I don't want to have the thing 3 hours away from me. I'd like to have it a little closer so that I can work on it. Thanks again for the super generous offer, though.

Actually if someone needs a place to crash... . let me know... I have a hide-a-bed someplace in my basement. I just need to wash the sheets/blankets.
