I just got back from May Madness and since information about the event is so far sketchy to non-existent on this forum, here are a few tidbits:
Three out of four Scourges attended: SOTN, SOTW, and SOTD (North, West, and Desert). SOTE did not make it (where were you, Sport Bike?) [In this context, Scourge = 500+ hp. ] Out of consideration to the govt foks in charge of setting clocks, the Scourges were careful not to take off in one direction simultaneously since the 3000+ ft lb could affect the rotation of the earth

The final decision was that the first race of SOTW and SOTN would involve diesel fuel only. SOTW was allowed one choice, and decided to add any drugs desired (propane and nitrous). SOTN then had the choic for third parameters. Upon being asked how fast his Ram was in reverse, in another conversational context, he said "42 mph. " Hmmm, not 40 or 45, but 42. Clearly, the third race would be in reverse gear.

Thus, the decision was made that the winner would be the best two out of three runs. It rained the night initially selected, but that would be an unfair advantage to SOTN who almost always encounters rain anyway, and is used to running with his Ram at a 30 to 45 degree angle.

SOTN showed up with his bed full of parts, as an astute overvalved forum member noted is the customary configuration for 12'ers.
#ad
SOTW showed up with his Ram stripped of tailgate and spare tire, and with short Scorpion tires on the front. He had to run ropes with lead weights to the ground so his Ram would not float away
#ad
from the weight-saving procedures [just kidding].
After the banquet, SOTW could not be located for a last-ditch attempt to book a "conversation" Ram-to-Ram, so to speak.
It should also be noted that the overvalved and undervalved were "unbelievably" friendly to each other, rode in other Rams of the INCORRECT valving configuration for their loyalties, and even showed RESPECT for "foreign" valved Rams.
#ad
What is the world coming to? Even the competing Scourges were unbelievably civil to each other

Perhaps it should also be noted that we have never seen so many police cars from city, county, state, and whatever else might be possible. Driving awards would not only have been given to the sorry Rammers, but there were so many police around that they would have to line up to hand them the citations.
Finally, hehehehe. Y'all know that the controversy is all in fun. Racing will have to wait until (1) a safe place is located; (2) the elusive goal of traction is achieved to pound the pavement with over 1000 hp and a foot-TON of torque from the two competitors.
I'm sure others will fill in the forum members about the excellent new products, fun activities, etc.
