Just got back on Sunday with my new McLeod dual disk street version installed by Jim Leonard and here's my findings.
1) Slight chatter when starting out in 2nd gear. If you let the clutch out just right you can all but eliminate the chatter. Jim tells me that the chatter will subside after break-in.
2) Pullen the 15k 5er: there's a wee bit of chatter starting out in 1st. More like a "chatt, chatt" instead of chatter because it only does it once or twice. No chatter in reverse.
3) 5th gear rattle (6 speed) on hard acceleration is hardly noticeable. Jim took me for a ride in a 5 speed that he just installed the McLeod in and the 4th gear rattle is much more pronounced.
4) Neutral grind or rattle:

When sitting at idle in neutral there's a rather load grinding noise coming from the transmission. This I'm told is due to the "solid hub" of the clutch. When you push the clutch in the noise goes away and there's no noise when the truck is cold.
All in all I think I’ll keep it for now but I really hate

the neutral grind. Maybe some thicker oil will help. I know the oil in the 6 speeds is a special blend and is like 30wt.
