Turbo whine volume/pitch?

I currently have a McLeod street twin disk clutch in my truck. It has about 30,000 miles on it. I took my plate out last week and now it won't hold the power. What I am wondering about is the interchangabilty of the Haisley clutch disks and pressure plates. Is the flywheel the same on all of them? I plan on pulling with the truck next summer and would love to upgrade now. Is there a way of upgrading what I have to save a little money?

From lengthly conversations I had with Van Haisley at Scheid last year here is what I gather.

They build their clutches to be extremely rebuildable. Not saying they make a bad product, but lets face it if you pull consecutively on a clutch it is going to have to be rebuilt sooner or later.

Van said that when they rebuild their HMR street puller (one I was looking at) that they throw away the old used pressure plate and replace it with a new one and then they resurface the two clutch disc's. I forget what he said about the flywheel's, but surely you would have to resurface it somehow?

Call Haisley Machine www.HaisleyMachine.com and talk to Patty or Van (Patty will probably answer, but she's very knowledgeable too). You should easily be able to get that street twin rebuilt into a street puller. I highly considered a HMR Street Puller from Haisley's because I watch two guys in Northern KY drive in to the pulls, pull in street & modified, and drive home just about everytime I'm at a pull up that way. Never really heard of any issues with a Haisley clutch, I just came across a scream'n deal on my SBC.
