I have completed my long bed conversion. All turned out great. It was done by Precision Bodyline in Salt Lake City,Utah. It took 3 full days start to finish including the B&W turnover ball, air bags, spray bed liner, and painting the bed. I will highly recommend these guys for this. They even gave me a loaner car, a Chrysler that my head hit the roof, but that is my fault for being 6'6", I barely fit in the truck. The truck rides better that it ever has. I do not notice any difference in the turning. I will never figure out why they just don't build this truck.

Nice Truck I know how ya feel I'm 7 ft so it's a tight fit in anything I drive except my bug That I drive from middle of car :)

Nice looking job. The lighting is not great and the frame is, of course, painted flat black so its hard to see the detail but it appears they did some very nice welding and fabrication work.

Awesome!

Once again, it took someone with talent to do what DC should have done in the first place.

Nice look'n truck. Just don't try to park in the city!

I like it alot. Looks good. Gives me an idea of what mine would look like... except mine is SRW... but it is silver. :-laf

How much did this cost you?

It was $6500 including the bed and my original is now for sale. I added the B & W turnover ball and air bags. It always drove me crazy being a shortbed. I barely notice any difference in the length and turning. I love it. You get some strange looks by other mega cab owners on the freeway.

That looks great, I would consider that on my 01 2500, I don't know what I was thinking of at the time I ordered my truck. I have thought of another truck for this reason, but just cannot part with mine.

Looks good! From my understanding, this truck was never built at the factory because of costs. It is much easier to change the cab/bed on the same chassis rather than build a different chassis to fit the larger cab/longer bed.

I sure like mine! I had it done by Innovative Customs in Lehi, Utah.

PM me if interested in the bed, shipping may not be that much. I carried it upside down on my new long bed easily. Just find someone who is going your way from here with a Ram long or short bed and pop it on to for the ride! The bed is perfect except for a small paint scratch in the rear edge of the dually fender.

I just towed my Jeep and wow this is a towing machine like no other. The ride is better now also. I get some double takes driving around now, by the Mega guys mostly.
