I remember something about the distance between the frame rails being different than a regular 25 or 3500. That would make it considerably harder to mount the bed wouldn't it?
I believe the hydro frame still exsists on the C&C but ends under the cab where the C-Channel begins, it might be easy to do, but to fit a reg bed on a C&C with the Mega Cab might add a lot more to the cost. $50,000. 00 = Mega Cab $50,000 = C&C and $20,000 to put it all together. $120,000 can buy you what you want, but is it worth it, and with no warranty. Sorry, don't mean to step on your dreamI'm pretty familar with that company. . they seem to be one of th ebest in the megacab long bed converters ... My idea was to use a 5500 with its bigger brakes, much bigger rear axel ,and straight c channel frame vs the megacabs hydroformed box with dog legs and smaller brakes/ axles etc... orderinag al ong bed mega cab from Doug Smith new with warranty is nice mummn... wonder if he could do the mega cab 5500? much more work involved with a cab swap though...
Thanks
