Garry, Nice images of a fine stout Cummins super long... the heck with super duty Furds.



I have been running around without the beauty rings of plastic for a month now and I like the look... BUT you got me concerned with the vibration issue of the steel wheels and tire pressure. I have been reading on other posts about the hardness of the tires that comes natually from the tire... where they shine is loaded and when I have my camper it is a load for sure and I run these Toyo's 17" at 80#but that is too hard empty so I go about 60 all around. You mentioned running at 50# and that seemed to solve the issues. I don't like vibrations when running for hours on end when traveling as I think most of us don't. So any further comments from you about the steel wheels would be helpful.

Ran the truck with 2500-3000 lbs of green firewood blocks yesterday! Finally a smooth ride. I might air the tires down 5 more lbs empty to see if the empty ride improves again.
