I don;t think you are going to see an * Ft. bed on the Mega-Cab, as they are using the "long-bed" frame. If they were to have an 8 Ft. bed on the Mega-Cab, they would have to re-tool and make a longer frame to accomodate the 8 Ft. bed... ... ... ... and if they did that there would be a considerable cost, as the entire truck would then have to be tested for safety and other things that are required by the Government.HeavyHauler said:From what I have read about this truck, the new larger cab is going to cut into the bed taking about 6 inches or more.![]()
I think we might as well give up on getting a real crew cab long bed from Dodge. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's what I've been seeing.

Glad my 05 is in K status... I do <B>NOT</B> like that new front end at all! And these shots just go to show how stupid the "door only" bodyside moldings really look.
