I am not sure where I really should be posting this at, but though I would start here. I am getting ready to order a new truck and up untill last weekend I wouldn't have even considered a Mega.
Here is what the truck will be used for. I am need to replace the 03 from its position of as primarly pulling my LQ horse trailer. We had a daughter last year and need to increase our back seat room, plus we have couple of other adults hauling with us to rodeos that average about 250 miles away. My orginal thought was that the short bed on the mega wouldn't give me enough room to manuver without getting into the back glass. I however last weekend while at Jackson MS saw several trailers that where similar size to mine and even some larger that were all being pulled my mega's. One was by a guy I know pretty well and he had the b&w offset on his and told me he hadn't had any problem being able manuver his.
My question is there any of you that have been down this road and either loved the change or are you paying for it cause you have been into your cab with your trailer.
I have rode considerable distance in both kinds of trucks and while the new crew is considerable improvement over the quad cab, the mega steps the comfort level up to that well rested non road founder level.
As you can see when I buy a truck I expect to use it for a while, so much so that I am keeping the 03 as there isn't anything wrong with it other than lack of room. I only want to do this once.
Thanks
