Referring back to that gif I posted, I hope everyone knows who and what movie.
I know Will Ferrel can be very juvenile, but in this move “Elf” he’s fantastic! It’s presently our favorite Christmas movie. If you haven’t seen it, give it a shot. It’s in heavy rotation on AMC channel.

WOW did that gif really work?
But really, my house is the meeting area for about 2/3 of the family since I have the dining room. Thankfully I’m off work, so it’s some errands and food prep. Yesterday I did some baking myself while the Mrs was mauling the mall. My fave to bake is a corn cake recipe I found right on the corn meal bag. I do it in my Lodge Dutch oven lid/ hi wall pan.

I also did a few batches of sugar cookies.

Then tonight we will go to a vigil Mass, and after that it’ll be four pounds of ground beef made into meatballs. That’ll be my wife and daughter.

I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and Merry Christmas!

My wife and oldest daughter sings in the choir with me and we are doing 7:00 Mass. I'll watch my mother this evening so that my dad can go to Midnight Mass. I prefer midnight myself, but the choir is doing the Vigil this year.

Merry Christmas to all. I am staying out of the wifes way yesterday and today while she is baking. I did chop some nuts for her and swiped a few cookies whiles she wasn't looking too. Also wrapped some presents for the kids.

Hope This is open to ME :D (Penny)

Gail is out like he had his switch flipped OFF!! He's been singing up a storm with the University Choral Group, Choir & Vocal class with the University Orchestra anything from Traditional Christmas Songs to the latest popular songs. Gail had two songs that went well "O Holy Night" He was Blessed to have the opportunity to sing while our Grandson Caleb who's in a Gifted Children's Musicians Group at the University accompanied him on his guitar. Gail gets lost singing, I think that he escapes the world at times. Caleb was sitting on a stool next to Gail, there's a few parts that scared the "CRAP" (Caleb's wording) out of Caleb so bad he started to cry (he's only 6) When the song was finished Gail asked him why he was Bellering? Caleb said that he thought his Grandpa was going to Explode!!! I can relate Ive sat next to Gail when he sings, tremendous lung and vocal cord required to sing.

The other song that I like is "Where are you Christmas" awesome song when Faith Hill sings it, a Totally different take when a male sings it. They've been singing at Church, Children's Hospital in Indy and at Caleb's school where he sings children's songs. Caleb sings Christmas Cookies (George Straights Version) at school, when he sang the same song at the University program several cute little girls from his class were there with plates full of Christmas Cookies, Grandpa said its 2 of the advantages of being a musician, Cookies & Cute girls that made them! Caleb was smiles and red cheeks ear to ear. Grandpa assured him that missing teeth grow back when they get a little older.

Ive been cooking as well, Mr. Wilson your muffins especially the Pumpkin Cream Cheese filled sound yummy. My garden went better than expected for the first year. I think that I've done enough canning that Ball Jars should give me a discount, our house has a sealed crawl space so Gail built bunches of shelves to store them because we had no more space in the house. The climate of Central Indiana is so much better than MT for growing anything!!

Well thats our story besides Gail's works going great, he's been asked to go back to Calif and recruit more drivers and skilled refinery people. The ones he's talked with are seriously considering the move. Besides its a paid trip to see old friends.
