Well guys, I thouht I'd just wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas, and an even better, Happy New Year.
Like most, this time of year usually results in a bit of reflection and such things... .
For all of you guys who offered to help when things got sticky for me, and in fact did. . let me thank you for your efforts, friendship and concern.
I have been fortunate to end up 'hanging out' with a great bunch of guys, and a gal in here too
Each of you has taught me a little something about one thing or another and, you never cease to surprise me. .
Alot of Rammer's figure we're the "old bunch"... we never get riled up or do anything "new"... ... well that's not strickly true. .
I've seen the initial stages of "riled up" recently
, and we are getting up to some "new" things for our trucks.
We've got Wild Man nascar mark himself running R&D for Piers, the "Pump Meister" Harry, who is working on things for you and me as we speak. Now mark is using his daily driver to do all this testing and living with what breaks. Then he has to spend his work time to fix it. Personally, I think I owe him a big thank you.
Not to mention Bill "Give it to me straight" K. and the crew putting the HP to the ground for us "fluid coupling" guys.
To your credit none of you have let emotion or tempers get in the way and you have always come thru when needed. It's my hope that eventually we'll have our own little Bombers group here in BC one day too... we are getting a few guys all in the same area.
As for "old guys", I've heard it said, that "... . in the end, old age and treachery will win out over youth and vigor... . "

So polish up your glass eye(s) and look for ways to make it go faster, longer...
We've had a couple 'O three new guys drop in. . like Philip, and Formula who have contributed straight from the starting gun and continue to be great additions to the 1st Gen Forum members.
I saw formula's post on boost pressures etc: I asked him to consider doing a bit of R&D'ing and within a day or two, he had a fairly detailed post on drive pressures/results that was a great post.
Others have been asked to copy/re-post something into the "Best tips". . forum and it was done straight away.
Everyone in here is contributing to the information, and support, both practical and "moral" support for those with problems and basically you all deserve the credit for making this an excellent resource.
Don't think it's gone unnoticed, because it hasn't.
There's paccool, hdm48, mazdarotary, a good friend Case500D, farmall, doubleclutch, dan brooks, bgilbert, HoleshotHolset, jaynes, randii, killer59, PPeters, Excessive Force, R. E. Miller, keimmmo, BCaldwell, bmoeller, bighammer, RGT, Alk, KEENO, paychk, Wayno, and so many more it's almost impossible to get them all in... .
Thanks for the participation, information, and support on behalf of the 1st Gen owners. FIRST CLASS GUYS !!
Anyway, on behalf of my snazzy Mrs. BushWakr (who lets me mess with HER truck) and myself, we hope you all have an excellent Christmas holiday, that the diesel fairy (no offense BCaldwell
) is good to you, and that you enjoy this time with your family and friends.
Bob and Family. .
