[Redneck Engineering] Got a refrigerator door that won't stay shut?

Farm Show Magazine

Anyone here into metal detecting. I have just recently gotten interested into going. I have a somewhat knowledge of doing it since it was one of my Dads main hobby's when he was living. He had several different models over the years and the last one he purchased I own it now. It's a Garrett Grand Master Hunter CX II, and I think this model was around $900. 00 bucks at the time he purchased it new, and I know it's around fifteen years old and still looks brand new. My main objective when going with him was to be the digger,and not getting to operate the machine, so being young and wanting to do other things at the time I didn't go that often. I was just curious to know if anyone was into it, and had any story's or pics of good finds to share. :)

I've got a White's XLT, but never learned to use it, if you know anybody looking for a good detector give me a holler. A friend in Virginia is always finding cool Civil War relics, that's what got em inspired, but not enough I guess.

Boomer as I stated in above post I recently just got interested in metal detecting. The detector I have was part of a inheritance, so at the time I could really care less about it, really not my interest. It has been stored away for over 11 years since my Dad past away. Have had several people wanting to buy it, and I wouldn't sell, thinking someday I might start using it. Unless you need the money I would just remove the battery pack and stick it away in the closet. Some day you may get the wild hair to start back. :D

What do you want for it?

So many hobbies, so little time, LOL.

scootergmc, I've got the soft case, pin point finder, two batteries, charger, coil cover, headphones, video tape, probe and probably some other odds and ends. I've had it about a year and used it less than an hour. I'll take $600 + shipping. PM me if you're interested.

I've often thought of trying out this hobby being I live by the beach and all.

It's the perfect location.

Now my back is so bad I cant possibly walk up & down the beach doing that.

:{
