TDR member Jeff Hardwick manufactured a billet aluminum oil filter socket ... search for the "oil filter socket" thread (i think ... just do search for oil filter, it's a recent thread)

top notch quality ... can't have too many tools

MORE INFO PLEASE

Would you please put a address on here where we can purchase or find out more info on it . . Will it work on the 03-04 units???? Thanks

Cool!

I took advantage of the unusually mild weather this past weekend and loaded up the horses and went camping. I needed a weekend offOo.

I knew that some of you guys would have recieved your socket by the time I had returned and I was hoping for positive feed back. I was pleased with the design, but you just never know until the end user has it in his hands!

Thanks again!

-Jeff

PS. For those of you who didn't get one, BIG MISTAKE.

I got mine today also. It really is the nicest filter socket I've ever seen. I will be putting it to the test this weekend.

Got mine today!! Its a great looking tool. Its very sturdy. It should last a lifetime:D . THANKS JEFF SUPER, Almost too pretty to use.

I've got one too, and it's definetly a quality tool. Highly recommended for those with fluted oil filters. I, too, noticed and was impressed with the little depressions he included for the retainer ball in the end of the ratchet rod. Attention to detail like that is what separates a machinist from the rest of the flock.

I've visited Hardwick's shop, and the remarkable workmanship on this wrench doesn't surprise me in the least.

well Ryan, I'll take that as a highly regarded compliment sir ... ... ... ... ... knowing how particular engineers are and all :D

Got my oil filter wrench today, and am very pleased with the design! Great job Jeff! Now start working on the fuel filter cap:D
