What can I spray on the battery blankets... Noticed that something has been chewing on them, put the truck back inside.. I think I've heard spearmint oil? No other signs yet.. but once it starts.......

@bcbender, I feel your pain! Noticed that a bit more has been being chewed on the passenger side battery. Haven't bothered the drivers side. Refilled all my bait stations and have noticed a feral cat strolling through on the doorbell camera! Maybe between the two, it'll stop.

On another note, P2609 code has popped twice. Checked batteries to find passenger side was 55% charge, and drivers was 100% charged. They're 5 years old now. Gonna need a new set soon!

I finally removed the blower fan. What a PITA! My fat fingers are screaming at those mice right now!
Did find an acorn shell flopping around the housing along with residual debri. What I did not expect to find was a hole chewed in the corner of the door!!
I cycled the key off and on to move the door back and forth with a shop vac shoved up as far as I could.
Have not a clew how to remove the door to replace it. Now I have to patch it. Thinking JB Plastic Weld.

Photo attached of the "Fresh Cab Rodent Repellant" Hope this works. If not----I am going to find a sticky trap as big as my truck and park on it!!
