Here is a good one, like the tar pits and dinosaurs....... well preserved......

This thing could have been in here for a while....

Hard to see but it fell into some old drain oil.

Well at least it doesnt smell...

I had one fall into a 5g bucket I was using to collect the condensate drain water off the 5r while it was in my shop and relatives were using it this summer visiting... About a month later I remembered and thought about it and went to dump it out and boy was it nasty with the little fellar that fell in some time ago...

Yeah that would be pretty rough for sure... I'm tying to keep up with these for sure a losing battle at certain times.

My interior is still out of my 2nd Gen because I never finished my Trans work, I don't want to finish it just to have visitors destroy the new stuff.

They just get all into the craziest things and ruin it all.

yep had issues with my Chevelle and Camaro, My wife put dryer sheets in the trunk and under the seats and it seems to help, the apparently dont like the smell

Wow, it has an insulated tail, pretty hard core......

Amazing how fast they work.

I have not opened my hood in a long time, I'm a just kinda get in and drive guy.

Did you keep him for a pet?

The funny part when I got home when I popped the hood of course was dumbfounded and just stared at it for a moment the the bugger pops up right on top
the motor as if to say is this my new home ? yes I corked him

WOAH ...That picture is slightly disturbing !!!

Sure looks like (s)he moved in with her/his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and maybe even the in-laws ??

And are you sure that there's not more still in there...maybe the one you clocked was only cousin Vinny... you know, the lookout ??

Just sayin'o_O

The thread that keeps on going.

Noticed 1 little turd on the dash board Wed, found this little guy today. I had already set some traps and left in the front floor boards, it was too small to set those off just ate the PB off of the one.

So went to some glue traps and nothing touched them.

Its just been pretty cold lately and I have just been keeping stuff tossed in the back for work.

No food or anything. Will have to see where it was getting in.

Anyone use these things. This thread is so long don't really want to go back and figure it all out.

AFAIK sonic repellents do NOT work …but
Peppermint oil does work as a repellent…as long as you don’t find the smell repelling yourself;)

Kinda what I thought, saw a pretty big price tag on those things.

It's just part of living with these things, it's been cold for our area so they are probably happy when I pull in at night.

Thanks.

that said I think the battery powered zappers like the Victor M250 can work well and might help in your situation with small rodents that simply lick the bait without setting off the trap.

Note-- I am basing the above opinion only by my having used the larger "Rat Zapper" to kill escaped albino CIA lab rats (JK) that were so smart they were impossible to catch otherwise so I am assuming that the smaller versions will also work for mice, even baby mice.

I've found glue traps work the best... just make sure you tie em down and put em on a board or something because they defecate all over when they cant get off (and then its on your floor / carpet) or worse, I've had them disapear... dont know how they drag them off or where they go but GONE.

Yeah I kinda remember them dragging them off at times.

I luckily have a Tradesman with the rubber floor mat. Not that it's easier but it's pretty tough stuff and easier to throw some decent stuff at vs the carpet.
