Michellin 17" tires

I was looking around at Costco the other day and saw subject tires on display at $164. 00 each. Has anyone used these tires?

Um... . our trucks take a 16" tire. I'm not aware of any 17" setup for these
trucks... . although there are lots of car applications for them. Generally speaking, if they're not specifically a truck tire, they wouldn't have the load capacity that our trucks need. I have Michelin 245x16 LTX M/S tires on my 2500, planning to upgrade to 265x16s as soon as I can justify buying the 8" wheels to put 'em on.

Be very careful of the load ratiing. I found a tire that looked real good in a big 16 inch tire. The sidewall felt so thin I could push my finger through it. The guy said they were for use on forerunners, they would ride very good but not good on a truck like we have. I have been told some of the halfton dodges have 17 inchers on them but I haven't seen one yet. My neighbors ford pickup does have 17's on it.
