Andy, that's a really nice looking truck. One day someone is going to have to sit me down and tell me what the heck all those letters mean when he was describing the new one, I'm lost as last year's easter egg!!!

WOW Andy! :--) Did you sell the Blue truck already or was it part of the deal some weird way?



Well I went to Kentucky and pulled a sled this weekend all made possible by Meacham and Corn! If it hadn't been for Corn in the most part I never would have made it.



Turned 4500RPMS! off the line... ... boost was @ 35PSI when I was getting out of the clutch... ... the rest... well its a blurr! I was a ball of nerves cause I was hanging weights for the first time. I hung 600lbs off the front cause that's all the bolts looked like they were gonna hold! I got 268FT out of 300, it was a tough tight track... tires never even spun. I just slipped her out for about 20-25 feet and it was away we go!



Anybody got that Ed guys # that did the welding for me @ Cedar City last Saturday? Would like him to do weld my took hook brackets to my frame since it will be overhead. If anyone has it please call me or have him call me at 615-478-0708. Thanks!

By the way who has Wade's timing kit now? I forget his name, but the member who got it from me had the red 12V 3500 with the silver light bar in the bed? I would like to borrow it again if its ok with the actually owner... . HEY WADE! :-laf

The truck is doing really well. I just posted a short review on the HTB2 and my setup in the 24V engine forum if you want to read over it. The next time I'm home, I'm gonna do a little tweaking on the wastegate and see if I can't open the turbo up just a bit more.



One problem I am having is a few intermittent hard starts. I was having that problem big time just after I installed the AirDog, but after I got that pump replaced under warranty all those problems went away.



However, the other night, 2 out of 4 were hard starts. But that was the only time that it's happened since I installed the new AirDog unit. So either I'm getting air into my system somehow or my VP is slowly dying, which would really suck to put it bluntly. I've put less than 200 miles on it since I installed the injectors, but I still think any air would be out of the system by now.



I've started the truck 3 times since then and it was fine so I don't know. It does really well in all other instances so I'm at a loss. Only time will tell...

If we are, I will get Shannon to take that day off so she can come out there and see all them trucks, it will help my case on getting news gauges and such if she sees how good they look once attached!!! Unless its a turbo swap or getting Ed to weld my weight bracket hitches to the frame mine isn't getting worked on for a while. She's right where I want her for now, which the exception of needing a slightly smaller charger. Oo.

Smoke factor looks good mark! Cam and exhaust manifold would help wake that turbo up Never too big! Just gotta bring the motor up to the turbo's level. Never the turbo back down to the motor!



Funny story, Rebuilt transmission, VB and TC(3rd one in a month) went in last night. Real close to being perfect. Still just a tick tight, but managable! Red called me this morning at 6:00am said that they got the truck running good enough to get him a reckless driving ticket last night... Laid a pair of black marks in a parking lot about 200ft. He then noticed he had a crowd (some High School boys) watching him. He said, I can do better than that. He backed up and Rev'd her up a little more this time and locked in the Transfer case Laid 300ft black marks in 4wd! He said after the smoke cleared he pulled up to them boys and was Bs'ing with them and a cop walks up with a ticket. This parking alot is right across the street from City Hall/police station. PoPo walked his reckless driving ticket over to him Lucky enough, he knows the hometown girl who process's all the tickets and she assured him it would not leave the town. He'd have driving school, but no record... . Ole Red! We'll he ever grow up?

Andy, welcome to the 12V family!



I got my guages installed a couple of weeks ago. I'll get a pic posted soon. It's a unique installation I haven't seen before. Hope ya'll like it.



With the guages installed I installed a home-ground #10 plate. What a difference! I don't think my waste gate is opening. It'll peg my 30psi boost guage QUICK! I blew the left lower intercooler boot off Sunday. I think I may not have put it back on good when I took the intake tube out to do the vacuum pump seals. It hasn't come off since.



Next is a 3K GSK and timing advance with CCD when I get the money. I may just have them swap the pump in that I got from Wade with the 181 DV's. I still think I have a wear problem with my pump.

I was talking to someone today that was telling about a pull on the 1st of Oct. , but he wasn't exactly sure where it was, does anyone know of one coming up about that time? I am wanting to get Shannon out of the house to go to one of these things. Ya'll let a brother know something!!!



Also, I can't go without saying-- Joe the tires ride AWESOME Oo. Oo. Oo. THANK YOU SO MUCH BROTHER!!!!!!!!! I'm sporting the Courser A/T's now and they look soo very sweet on it!!!!!!!!!!

Oct. 1st Shelbyville, KY DHRA pull. Will be a NICE event to go too. Some of my buddies that I competed against this past Saturday will be pulling. I will not however, I'm threw for the season looks like.
