Got the FE yesterday and didn't even know it, cause I have all my stuff delivered to my mothers work. :-laf

Its goes in Thursday as well as my 370's. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Hey Mark,

Are you putting the clutch in yourself or having it done? Never done any clutch work on a 4x4 and would like to see it done.

Jay

HOOK-itus

Well, Mark and Nick already know this, but I've been PULLING THE SLED TODAY! Probably 20 hooks altogether. Not including the times I had to pull it back. :p (the dump truck overheated).

We worked out some of the bugs in the sled and I got some experience on the track. And after the last couple of pulls where I when 350' or so and only spun out in mud holes--we decided that the sled needs more weight.

Barry is game for any of us to come out on a semi-dry Sunday and play with the sled. Oo. :D  Three or four trucks would be a hoot. Just holler.

OH and their competition pull is on for July 3. I started a thread.

Jay you are sure welcome to come help/watch the install ;) :-laf ,but I dunno if you will be able too. Yes I am installing it myself, but we are starting on it Thursday about mid-day. If you can make it call me on my cell 456-3519 tomorrow (leave message as I'll be at work) and I will get back to you with directions.

Mark,

I may take half a day of vacation and come help. I want to see how it is done so I can prepare to do mine later in the year.

Has anybody heard anything about the Bosch 300HP injectors that are listed on Ebay? They are used in some fire engines. How would they compare to the DD3s in HP gains? The price is attractive at around $300 for the set.

Jay

300's

I axed Joe Donnelly about them. He's never heard of them. I wouln't waste my time, DD or DonM is where I'd get mine. They will be WAY better balanced than OEM--an aren't from some mystery application.

Jay you need to contact me ASAP if you plan to do that. Sudden last minutes changes have now forced me to do the install @ Home (just outside of Lebanon) tomorrow and my cousin and I will be getting an earlier start than planned so you could probably catch the "reinstallation" if you want. Once again sorry, but the shop once offered to me was jerked out from underneath me this evening.

Hey guys,

Do we have an ATS or DTT shop close to Nashville? I need to build my transmission and cant seem to find anyone close. 4 hours away is best DTT can do.

Help?

Thanks!

arrtamatics and pulling

I don't know of any shops myself--at this time. There might be a new shop starting up soon.

HEY, if the weather is good the next few days we might do some FUN PULLING at Ivy Bluff on Sunday. Will be able to make final call after he works the track Saturday night.

Thanks Wade. Thats all I need, hook to the sled and see the transmission parts come running out all kind of directions... . :D

Might have to pass on that one. Sound like a hoot though. What time? And could you email me directions? I might come cheer you guys on... Oo.

Yeah, I need to look at my U-joints.

The more stock your truck is the less likely anything will break.

From Murfreesboro, goto Woodbury (HWY 70S East).

From Woodbury take HWY 53 South (Right at McDonald's)

Go 5. 5 miles or so to Red Hill Road--just past HWY 53 Market.

Turn left onto Red Hill (no sign)

Go 4 miles to end of road.

Turn Right onto Pleasant View Rd. (no sign)

Go 3 miles or so to end of road.

Turn Left.

Go less than mile to Ivy Bluff Salvage on left.

615 542 1957 my cell. I'll try to meet up with folks coming out for the first time. At the store.
