Speaking of turbos... wonder what happened to the one off my 24v? I let the one off the salvage truck go with the engine... wonder if they ever go that thing going?



Anyhoo, need an HX-35 for my sister--eventually. She got an EZ for Christmas and derned if she don't have one of them lil bitty HY's on that truck... She might not ever need more than that, but I ramble. She's gotter get some gauges and leak fixed next.



Anybody "local" have some good looking fender flares mounted on a 2G? Sis is running some of those funky offset wheels and has about 3 inches of rubber slinging crap and rocks all over the place. Would like to see some installed before buying.

Just got a call from Shawn. Don't know the fellow yet, but he's says he's puttin on a dyno in Smyrna on March 17. I can take a green truck!

Happy New Year! OK, its a few days late.

Got to take the week off between Christmas and New Year, took a trip to Asheville NC area, hit a piece of the Blue Ridge, 5. 9L enjoyed the climb. Got some tree stand time in a a local club, neighbor got a 8pt 140lb at first light on the last day of the season, still felt good to be in the woods.

Well we've got today and tomorrow left to hunt the pointed-headed, beady-eyed, black-nosed, and fuzzy-butted deers. I've heard some buck tales, but not seed any good-uns in person this time. Wound up with four in the freezer, three does and a piddly buck. Got two does on early morning ladder stand. Walked up on the buck late morning. Had to circle and stalk the last doe--midday. Didn't get to punch anything with my new load for the 375H&H. Did use . 44mag, . 280Rem, and of course the . 30-06! Picked up a . 17HMR for varmint and such. Sweet little ride. (Savage, accu-trigger, synthetic)



And back to the truck. Found out that my major up-front oil leak is actually a fuel leak at the Overflow Valve. Have new washers, will install. Saw a new post under 'rigs spotted, TN'. I invited him over here. He's probably still reading this monster thread.



Have this pretty Patriot Blue Quad Dually 4x4 5-speed truck for sale again. 2000 with 90k on it. Leather, and all options except CD player. Comes with coax and antenna, ball hitch on slider and air-flow gate, plus original tailgate. Also has puck--I presume a 60-horse bump. New tires. I'll get some photos up sometime or another.



Also a Maroon over silver shortbed quad 24v 4x4/2500 at local dealer. Haven't looked any closer than driving by, but if'n anybody is interested, I'll be glad to get the scoop on it.



Think I have a new guy considering joining. He has a 1G to play with-and will probably be bolting my 16cm housing on there soon. So now I have to learn about them. BUT there is a great writeup on 1G by Pastor Bob in the 1G forum...

I sat a read all 29 pages of that last night. Almost brought a tear. Andy and the "Slapper " finding each other in their own parking lot, the birth of "Old Smokey", and Mark building up his first truck.



The funniest part was when Andy said his was going to pull his first pull and Gap read it. It went something like this " I bought ****** my pants, choked on a pork rind, and spit Mello Yellow all over my computer screen. " Now that was funny.

Yeah I have been reading up on the rotory pump myself for the 4BT. I think the HY35/9 will spool a little better than the WH1C/18 thats on it!
