Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Wade,

Glade your still able to entertain us on here. Get well soon.

Joe and Slapper, Hate I missed the pull. Didn't know about it. I have ball games on Thursday nights for the next few weeks.

Went over to SC to see Gary and the SC TDR get kicked off this weekend. Had a Great time. Dynoed the truck for the first time. 351 HP and 801 torque w/ Juice, HRvp44, Air Raid, and 4" exhaust. I thought it was pretty good for stock turbo and injectors.

I pulled the Mach 3's a few weeks back. Too much smoke, will save for when I can get a bigger charger.

Ya'll be safe

JMBryant,

That looks like a really slick project truck, get it all restored and put it in the July 4th parade. Keep the pictures coming as you hit milestones.

Good luck.

Are we going to make Bean's an official gathering?

What are the directions to his shop?

Who is doing the dyno and how much for a run?

It will be my buddy from Chatt. He has a Dyno Dynamics, its a smaller twin roller. I think he does 75 for 3 pulls like everyone else. I will see if I can get him down a little for our event.

Thanks, I have lots of work to do, but it will be unique when finished. I originally planned on putting the cummins/allison in the truck, but upon further inspection, I am going to put the truck cab and front end on the bus frame (donor) and shorten the frame alittle. Seem much easier to build cab mounts and such than motor mounts, transmission mounts and rewire and all of that stuff. I need some advice on mods for the engine. What do you guys think?? It has the 185 pump, and I think I will just use it, 10 plate maybe??

Should I go with 300's or 370's?? I talked with a transmission shop that will build the converter to handle the power, so I think it would be cool to build this thing to be in the 400-450hp range. Just thinking out loud.

370's !!! And don't forget the GSK and some timing.

Yeah, BEAN'S THIS SATURDAY--official as it gets. I'll try to get my truck over there as it's had a few tweaks since the 386 run.

So Bean--what is the "word on the street" official speed? We launched pretty hard out of the school, and I don't know if/when he lifted. Don't remember getting out of shape at all... but there's evidence all up and down the road. I'll have to get a shot of the car. VERY Lucky and very thankful to be here. Taking another day on the couch before I try to shift with my sore stitched paw.

Dad is back in hospital. They sent him home too soon before. Mom and Sis are helping with stores and it's all new to them.

Be careful out there.

i'll buy that. and anyone who sees the car will too.

i've gone fast before, and i've gone off before. that was first fast & off--NOT RECOMMENDED--

was going to put smaller tires on truck-now i think 5. 33 and 44's mite be better:-laf

HEY Bean, how late will dyno runs go? I gotta work until at least 2.

I reckon I'm going to head down toward Bean's after work tomorrow. I'll be leaving Nashville @4:30-5:00 if anybody wants to go late. We can ride together or follow each other, whichever you want. Any of you Lebanon boys going?

Looks like you and your son have already jumped in and got greasy on the ole 12v!! Fixing the KDP on my donor motor for my old Dodge is first on the list to do, and might as well put in one of those big lopey cam's while I am at it!

Congrats to Team Underwood Tire on the 1-2 Finish at Manchester Sat. night. Looks like they had a good crowd with 15 or so trucks. Looks like the Bandit and the "Run Away" are a force to be reckoned with!!!!

It was a good show but it sure went long. Trucks didn't pull till midnite. I finally got home a little after 3:00am.

Went to Bean's first. Nice place Bean. He's got a lot of trucks in there torn apart making hot rods. Good to see Wade alive an kickin'. He's ready for Halloween with all his bandages and stitches. Wade, your lucky to be alive... ... ... ... ... ... ;) Bean had the transmission out of the Fummins. They had to make some parts for it at the machine shop to get her fixed. When we left for the pull they still had the transmission apart so I figured he wouldn't make it but about 10:00 the Bean gang pulled in. That was some impressive wrenching there Bean.

No hanging weights at the pull so I asked the official if I could ride with Joe for weight and he said OK. That was a RIDE! Joe sure is busy in there. A lot more going on than I would have figured. Joe pulled 337 over Barry's 335. First thing Barry said when we got out of the truck was "I get BigPapa next time!" Beans clutch faded away for a 4th place pull.

It was FUN!

Wade I just got online and read about your little mishap, sorry dude, glad your still with us, Anthony I've been busy, sorry I didn't get a chance to take a look at the windows and shelves you called me about, maybe next time. Hope everyone is doing good. Later.

Finally got some pics.

Story is: driver lifted at 130, car got light and he tried to wrestle it straight--went into the LH ditch pointed backwards bounced through ditch and clipped pole square in the rear... and turned over at some point. I don't remember anything but waking up in ER.

Driver and I had belts on. He wasn't hurt. I had one hand pinned and was in and out of consciousness and quite bloody. Heavy Higgins was the man who got me out. I'm very thankful and fortunate and happy to be here and also not injured any worse than a couple of sore wrists, and various and assorted scars. Got them 47 stitches ripped out this morning.
