Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

i got 650 gal. of the 500ppm dropped in my tank at home 6 weeks ago when it was 3. 159 a gal. i am glad i got it now. the 500ppm raised my mpg by 2. 5 miles miles. this 15ppm has alot lower btu. that stanadine performance forula raised a customers of mine 2 mpg in a 3rd gen.

65 will make a difference. 55 will help even more.

On long trips, not hauling any kind of "load" I can get 22-25 MPG with the cruise set at 55. The drive can get real boring, but thank God for XM!

I've been running the Lucas Fuel treatment in my tank for the last few tanks and it has improved at least 1 mile per gallon. I think the last one averaged 17. 4 which is pretty good for my truck, was as bad as 15. 1 at one time.

Anthony, you think that that $100 is bad. Ive been on haul with my dumptruck for the last few months that is very short, about 4 miles round trip. I make about 24 to 28 trips a day. You can get about 2 days on a 110 gallon which averages about 2. 91 miles per gallon, or about $325 every other day. I just am glad I dont have C-15 twin turbo cat in my pick up!!!

I decided to park mine during the week and drive my daughter's 88 with the little 318. It gets about the same milage, but that 60 cents difference a gallon means i should save a few bucks. Randy:{

I've got a question, my fiancée just got a job in Nashville, so I am going to help her move down here from Central Indiana. I was thinking it might be cost effective to rent a trailer from somewhere, get it all done in one trip. Anyone know a place to get a trailer for a weekend for a fairly good deal? Thanks!

T,

I'd try U-Haul. I don't think Ryder does trailers, they might. There's also another one I can't think of. Seems like it had to do with Sears. Check in the Yellow Pages for truck rental or trailer rental. If I had one I'd let you borrow mine.

What's this I read on CompD about the Sturgis,KY Indoor Pull... ...

Tell us all about it! Joe? Barry?

Scott

Let me tell you, it was a awesome pull. Joe could not make it so I rode with berry up to sturgis saturday night to be a cheerleader since gap was unavailable:-laf. There was about 25 trucks all thrown into one class. Finally at about 10:00pm they got to the diesel class. There was a ton of trucks breaking, the track had some serious teeth. Berry pulled about the middle of the pack and pulled the sled out the door of the arena with a full pull. Two other dodges got close with full pulls. One broke the drive shaft at the end of the pull and could not make the pull off. They loaded the sled with everything they had for the pull off. Berry pulled first with a 176ft and then the dodge pulled second with a 173ft pull. I have never seen berrys truck pull like that before, it is night and day difference over last year. I think the craziest thing I seen all night was a 08 chevy 3500 duramax dually doing a 3-4 foot wheelie at the end of the track almost hitting the wall. It was a good night even though I got in bed about 3:30 am. Congrats to berry on the big win.

Hey Bean,

Saw your ad in a new mag, Diesel Tech. 1/2 page color, 2002/2005 Fummins hooked to Old Ironsides, nice picture, good luck with the ad. My neighbor bought it and passed it to me.

Didn't you move to a new location? hows it working out?

Kinda quiet out there.

introducing myself

Just wanted to introduce myself on here. I heard about this site a while back and just now finally got around to joining it. I'm originally from Ohio but I moved to Nashville about 2 years ago now.

Now about my truck. I've got a 99 2500 extended cab short bed. Its got a 4" lift and 35" BFG's. Motor wise its stock. Its got a straight piped stock exhaust on it. I'm looking to add a chip and probably an exhuast to it pretty soon. I guess that's about it.
