but that's the same I pay for the regular style turnouts and miter cuts over here in Westmoreland, and I saw a pair of these on a club cab truck at TiM and Schied this year and LOVED them!



I think regular turnouts on a club cab just don't look right.



Now I will need some help cutting a hole soon, as I am too damn timid to do it myself WADE!! :{ :-laf

Gosh I hope they are on by then!! The hole is the on big major concern of mine, that and finding a 3-to-4" adapter, but Terry knows a place that can get them over in Lebanon. All I need then is a small piece of flex pipe, some band clamps, and a 90* Oo.

I recieved a phone call late this evening from one Terry Johnson informing me that the White Beast we've all come to know and love is gone! :{



Seems Meacham decided it was best to move onto a '05 Red Sport... :-{} it does though already have an Edge EZ on it.



I guess the Twin turbo'd, FASS fed, Don M injected, ATS tire roast'n beast was just not enough and he had to have something new.

The White Beast can be found @ Lebanon Auto Plaza if anyone knows anybody who would like to try and purchase it. Terry did say though that somebody down there wanted to keep it to himself... . a salesmen or someone.



I'm much rather see it go to a TDR member who could truely appreciate it and all the hard work that's been put into it.

I got your message, just been busy. I just don't have time to track down your part, sorry dude. It is a real pain to track down Rod! He don't ever answer, call's ya back when you aint' at home. Then you spend another half day playing phone tag again. This is just to get a price! I then talk to you to see if you even want it at said price. Then I gotta do it all again to order it. Sorry dude, just more of pain in the buttocks to me than it is a favor to you Just call Rod, he is great guy. Just too real busy people try'n to track each other down. I am sure he can hook you up with something.

Got a PM from Scotty himself the other day on DTR, he gave me the price for the housing. I didn't need the filter just the housing. I picked up a filter for next to nothing from a guy on DTR.

Paul, I don't know about ol meacham. Hard to say. It's hard getting HP out of your blood. Especially Diesel HP. Us diesel junkies are just born with it. HP potential of the new fuel system is good I think. It's new ground. We all know what you can do with 12V's and meacham has seen the potential of his 24V. I think he just wants to tinker on the edge. He has some experience under his belt, his confidence is high and he wants to see how much you have to spend and if parts break the same on a CR motor! Keep an eye out for fly'n heads! I'd be suprised if he was done. Just changed hats.



Saw an 8. 3 up close and personal this weekend. In a 24ft box truck. Big version of ours. But with the Common Rail fuel system. Sweet! Torquos Maximus. I was sport'n some hickory! Buddy runs a truck rental shop and a guy comes in wanting something to move his mother from Arizona to TN. Hauling her household goods and pulling her car back. Said he wanted that truck(cummins diesel particularly) so he could load it up and just put the cruise on coming back. I thought it was funny... Smart guy! He's obviously done the U-haul thing before... . 70mph downhill 45mph up!

Hell, the 3rd gen section is loaded up with busted pistons on the #5 cylinder. Injectors hanging open due to poor fuel filtration, overly sensitive injection system, etc... I'm scared to death to do anything to mine. The more I futz with it the more goes wrong. Feels like I'm driving a time bomb. Kinda wish I had gotten a "new old stock" 02 instead of an 03.



Of course I bring all this on myself, so I don't really have a lot of room to complain.



BTW, where can I get a good price on a steering box... mine is 'kaput.

I need some pre '03 wheels. Anybody got a set? Friend has a 96 12v (Couldn't tell me whether it was 12 or 24), and has owned it since it was new. (shrug)...

anywho, he has some weld wheels on it, and needs new tires. Truck is used for work, and he doesn't want to pony up for more huge tires for his "work" truck. He's got a new chebby as a primary vehic. This 5sp, club cab, 4x4, long bed 12'ver may be up for sale in the spring. I'm workin on him. Stay tuned for that.



he likes the wheels on my 03, but I doubt they will fit his, so if anyone has some factory ones and want to sell them, lemme know. He is also up for a trade... . I ASSUME an even trade. I'll have to get some pics of the wheels. Their condition escapes me, as I don't see him or the truck very often.
