yeah, i say harding... same as last time. and yepper on the 11:30.



test drive results... ramifier will sh!&&!n' get with it. I can hit 1400 before I can let up off the pedal though (be careful Paul. My gauges run up like a stuck pig), and it seems to wanna keep pulling (kind of a studder) when I let off after a hard short run to 60mph. Kind of feels like it's still dumping fuel in the cylinder, and the rest of the engine wasn't expecting it... HOPEFULLY not a leaking injector! I am going to call the guy tomorrow, thank him profusely for the box, and then ask about that issue.

Thunder in Muncie/Diesel Tunder

Hey who all's going to Diesel Thunder at IRP this year? I know that Meacham and Mark are - anyone else? Do you guys usually convoy or what? I'm in if y'all don't mind traveling with a Dodge that's puttin' out less than 400HP! :-laf



Where are you guys staying? Any recommendations? Never stayed in Indy before, I figured I might want to go ahead and look into getting some reservations. Those places close to the track will probably fill up quick.

I just rode/drove Andy's truck with the Rattlnator... Don't know for sure, but sounds like pump rattle. Seems like the box is causing the injector pump to freak out a little when you let off from a hard acceleration. Thinking it might be to prevent turbo bark, but it sounds/feels funny. It'll scoot though. Left some mild black snakes in front of our office. Seems more responsive than the edge. Can't really remember though. Gonna get an edge of the old mans 3rd gen and do a side by side comparison... . let ya'll know.

Do a search for Hotels @ IRP and do it QUICKLY! I made my reservations last week, and I was the first to get into a new hotel that Sleddy has just posted... . I think it was full by the next evening. :--)



Yeah we usually convoy up to IN, at least we did last year. However Terry (Dodgeman98) heard something about Diesel's vs. Ricer's on Thursday so he is leaving Thursday morning which means Joe is probably going with him. Dunno how many Lebanon gang is going?



I'm leaving from Gallatin/Castalion Springs, Friday morning the 24th as soon as I can get outta class (9AM) and get my g/f & her stuff, and my cousin and his stuff. Your welcome to convoy up with me.



MEACHAM!! Are you going or not? I called all of the Mid-Tenn who's #'s I had when I made my reservations and Meach was still undecided.

Mark - thanks for the info. I looked into that Amerihost Inn last night and it was full. That's where the major partying is supposed to be going on! Oo.



Anyway, that would be excellent if we went together up there. I'll probably have the g/f with me as well. You'd be right on my way so we'd have no problem hookin' up. I'm gonna look into a hotel room in the next day or two and see what I can find out. I know that there's a new Country Inns & Suites opening up soon near the airport so I may try to get in there if I can catch them at the right time. I love a Country Inns - best mattresses I've ever slept on!
