hey, any of ya'll know who this is. white 2wd rc lb 3/4 ton dodge w/tow mirrors. guages on the dash, commercial tag H2 29010. it has a tdr sticker on the back glass and cummins c on the front fenders. he out ran a 97 white, 4x4 dodge with aluminum rims at mile marker 304 on i 40 sunday morning. any ideas who it is?

Sounds like Garrick (SP?) - Gap's buddy from Dickson.

It was me..... Garrick..... I thought I had some troubles with my transmission, It was the output speed sensor. I took it up there 2 weeks ago, brought it back home today..... I was driving down the interstate, bored, almost out of my mind... . I spotted a nice looking 12v 4x4... . I had to get up there and see if there was any smoke with it... ... His windows were dark as he^^... . I gave him the thumbs up, dont know if he seen it or not... . I had to show him some smoke... . Well, what little my truck will put out... . I thought it was a mostly stock truck, but makes you wonder if he was packing twins and god knows what... ..... I was called after a couple smokings, My wife to be called me and told me that there was a police officer, in a plain car comming up behind us, and she had to stop and go to the restroom. . So, I tried to act normal, and got off @ the 301... ...

brandon karcher from somerville, tn. he hasn't had that truck long and it is bone stock. only has 37,000 miles. he said he knew as soon as he drove the white one that someone would try to mess with him. his red 98 12v is pretty hot. he just got tore up cause he couldn't play with you garrick. later, nick

Well, I knew it looked like a nice truck. . I couldn't see a thing in the windows. I guess it had 5% all the way around... I know what he means about driving the wrong truck or car. I have a car, I will drive it once and awhile. Everytime I drive one, I end up kicking myself in my @$$ for not driving the other one... It's all in good clean fun... .

oh yeah. now he's not maad or anything. he just likes to play like the rest of it. i told him to turn a lil more fuel to it so he could play with that one. worried about gas mileage or something like that. i thought it was kinda funny. later, n

Hey Jay or any other Mid-TN members..... can you locate any of the material to make this? I have a clevis I can use for the hook end, but I need everything thing else. 2x2 stock and the pieces to make the verticle part too.

why don't you see about getting meacham to fix you one of his hitches? they work pretty darn good. it's what i used all year last year. or ask him what he wants for a slightly used one.

Nick, I had a decent load on today and that turbo be skipping and sputtering like heck when I lock up the converter. Just about killed it at 30 psi.



Hey Gap, did yall ever get Red's turbo to stop huff/skipping at big throttle and good load?



The less restrictive filter seems to make it worse--or more noticeable. I'm going back with the BHAF and listen hard. Filterless didn't help much.

Going to call Meacham in the morning and talk with him about supplies to build a hitch. I have access to a welder, and someone to do it (Crazy Cousin Dilbert can weld! :-laf ) just need the metal.



Alright anybody wanna go to Knoxville with me and 'ol Prez next Saturday to watch some Northern Big Dawgs invade TN? There's gonna be Van & Curt Haisley from Haisley Machine, and Scheids Black Dually will be there probably piloted by Kent Crowder. There will also be a Super Street truck class so it should be a good show.



I already have a thread going on it, but Wade, Nick, & Myself were the only Mid-Tenn's posting/replying. Knoxville Pull June 11th

Yeah, I wish I had it ready to go on a road trip like that and I would take it. But I've got to replace the brakes all the way around and the wheel cylinders in the rear Friday and I don't even have it titled yet. It needs the exhaust done and I've got the air intake all taken apart to re-route it. :-laf Gotta adjust the idle on it, check the valves, etc...



The tires aren't so good on it either and I'm afraid it might lay down on me on the way up there! I'll have to take it on several short test runs before I head out in it.



My cousin and I are gonna start on the body and paint in the next week or two and the inside still needs a serious cleaning. LOL, so I've got a long way to go.

LoL you guys got me thinking about taking the G/F's Turbo (Gas) Beetle. That damn thing got 29mpg doing 80mph all the way to Gatlinburg! :-laf



At 1/2 the cost of taking the truck! :-laf
