Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Well the HTB2 is on the way! Oo. I'm smiling but my bank account is frowning! :(

The injectors and turbo should be here next week. I hope I can get them in before I have to head back to Memphis.

Nick - is this the Jamestown in Fentress, Tipton, or Rutherford county? There's several of them...

Fentress County (Pall Mall) is the home of Sgt. Alvin York (WWI). I've met some of his grand children. Not much to do there, but nice scenery.

We still waiting on rings... should be here today. We stacked up all we could without them. Tap'd all our holes, set the crank, lifters and cam, main studs, got the pistons on the rods...

It's hard to get concrete high HP advice

500hp, no problem

600hp, experience required

700hp, trial and error

700+, good luck!

Hey are we still planning on having a tech meeting at Meacham's on September 10th? If so, Andy or Wade should start a thread on it so people can start lining up projects. I think it was mentioned/recommended at Mark's that everyone know's their place at this meeting. Meaning, let's figure out what everyone needs to do and then get 2 or 3 people working on a single project so everyone won't be wondering around jumping from job to job. Not that it's always like that - I'm just recalling what we talked about.

Anyway, I don't think I'll have anything to do then so I'd be glad to help on anything within my ability.

Let's get a thread started and see how much interest there is. If it's not going to be a huge thing, I may have to miss this one. May be too much trouble trying to get home from Memphis and then heading to Lebanon, or driving straight from Memphis to Lebanon.

I love my DTT. So if I did it again thats what I would install.

Everybody loves what transmission they have. Road in an ATS(meachams), Goerand (Joe's) and a DTT(Garricks). All a little different... Bang for the buck, Goerand. $3100 to your door, 100,000 mile warranty. Lifetime on the converter. Wade patton also has a Suncoast. Haven't rode in it though. That would be your best bet! He wants to sell his to get a manual. He just ain't right... :D Reckon he just needs a "good" transmission... . oh... hhehehe.

Wow, 100 pages... I wax nostalgic and remember that this twern't the first MT thread.

Okay I just prefer a stick for daily driving. I'm not a city dweller. Competition calls for an auto. I recommend talking to all the builders. Ask some questions--pick who you like. Try to avoid the temptation to get a converter tighter than you need it. Makes it real hard to spool up the turbo. Mine is a tad "loose", but I drove a SunCoast the other day that was a tad "tight". LOOSE wins--my B1 spools just fine. The other truck was quite difficult to light.

Got some batteries. Or battries if you'd like. Tested Group 27 Recons. That's what I run. PM or call for price, it's a nice round number ;) . Quantities are limited. Can deliver on Sept 10 or pick up at Hollis Creek.

Hello yall, I've been looking on e-bay for toys and saw some things that some one might be interested in. I found out that I should be home from Iraq around the first of Nov. Hope to meet yall then... Here's the link for a HX40W turbo http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LN-H...992728996QQcategoryZ33742QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and here's the link for a 1999 Dodge 3500 w/cummins 4x4, auto, 209 thousand miles in Texes. . It says that the engine runs good, but the truck has been rolled. Might make a good parts truck. The bid price is about $1,200 right now. Any how. . yall take care

Hey Dale, gettin used to having sand in your crack all day long yet? :p Keep yer head down and the powder dry. ;) See ya when you get back. And whilst you are going through the ebay and such, keep your eyes peeled for a 98quad 12v. My sister has 18,000 burning a hole in her pocket and she "needs" a 98 quad 2500 4x4 12v 3. 54 shortbed manual low miles and pretty paint. ;)

Of course, ebay notifies me anytime something like that comes up. I go through tons of ads nationwide looking for the right thing. SO MANY dealers have no idea whether it's a 12 or 24 and THEN they all think the 24 is better. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Hey yall wake up. I hate "replying" to myself.

The wedding is Saturday 17 September. Micro-ceremony.

Then everybody is invited to the reception. Oo. It'll be at the farm in Wilson Co. I'll post directions later. Bout 8 miles total from Meachams. Go out Sparta Pike--then right on Young Road at Shop Springs, hang a left on Walnut Hill Road, to 964 go across the cattle gap, then another, then another. It's out there.

BBQ and Beer and such.

when you get back to dickson let me know. neil westerman said we should get together.

joe

I sure will. . I think the world of him and his family. . is he on here very much? . . I guess I'll call him and ask. Where is your shop located at? It's been about 2 years since I've been home and I don't remember exactly where your at. . Thanks Joe and we'll get togeather. -- Dale
