Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Hey guys,

Keep me in mind with the up coming pulls. I would enjoy seeing you guys hook and pull sometime.

Sorry bout not being here any lately. Been having a stroke over health (sleep problems) and over no work. Its all been real depressing, but I wont bore you with details.

Anyway just wanted to say hello and let you know I am alive, barely but still here... LOL!

Keep me in mind if anyone knows of a good job out there. I might have to change professions soon if it dont get better!

good job mark. hang some weights. the 60 will hold up. build blocks out of steel. and bolt them in. they tend to work a lot better.

Yeah the guy that got 2nd hung weights off the front. I dunno I just didn't have enough time this week I guess. Now with some new plans in the works we (Crazy Cousin Dilbert & I) are gonna have to build a hitch & a weight bracket before Sept. 17th! Oo. :D

Oh and also thanks to CCD I now have 1000lbs of John Deere suitcase weights available to me whenever I need them. Plus I have 4 100 pounders of my own. :D :-laf

Care to enlighten me on some ideas for blocks? The space between my bumpstop & spring was only 2. 75" with 800lbs in the bed. :confused:

get the weights out of the bed. if you cant hang them put them in the passanger side floorboard. your bumpstop has to 15mm (i think) bolts holding them in. remove bumpstops. take a piece of 1/4" plate about 2" longer than your bumpstop and drill holes in it so you can use the factory bumpstop holes to bolt them in with. you'll have to go to autozone or somewhere and buy 4 bolts about 1/2" longer than the factory ones. take a piece of tubing no less than 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" and weld it on to the center of that plate. your factory lift block has an arm that sticks out. for where there aren't any rules build some so you have to jack the truck up 1/2"-1" to get them in. build another set that has 1" clearance some places have a 2" rule so you may want to build a set that are solid and a set that has about 1 3/4" give. that should get you thru anywhere. later

Well if the seat adjuster wasn't broken on my pass. side seat I would have had more than 2 weights up front. :rolleyes:

Can you get me some pics of what your talking about Nick? That would help a lot.

Hey, don't be givin my blocks to Mark. :p

Did yall (the other side of the river folks) ever get me a set of blocks and those leftover driveline goodies? Or has that been consumed otherwise? No biggie. I might not hook until Jan.

So, I'm going to the truck dock tomorrow. Peewee, that's his name. Find out if the frame is overtorqued. Torqued by a f150, that would suck. :{

PC is still clusterf'd. :-{}

Hey guys, We are heading back to the dragstrip. We are going to lawrenceburg, Tn. US 43 raceway... . We will probably be getting there about 7:00 or close as we can. . Friday night... . If anyone can make it, great, I understand it's a long haul for alot of yall so if your close and you think you can, I'll see you there... ..... Yall have a good one. .

Garrick - depending on what my plans turn out to be this weekend, I may be able to make it over there Friday night. I'd like to see you guys make a few passes. I may end up in Henderson this weekend visiting family but we'll see...

Paul was interested in coming down too - wonder if we could talk him into making the trip from the 'boro.

yeah, prolly so, depending on what time the ol man comes in. He is coming to my house Friday night so we can get an early start on the truck saturday morning.

Got the pistons yesterday :) They look so pretty when new, almost brings tears to my eyes... gotta go

Better to be pistoff than piston you know. :p

$5920 after tax is the estimate. Looks like it may get fixed up. Now to find out who the other parties to the accident were. Damn State and Ins Co. ain't very helpful.

Anybody need any 24v stuff off the blue truck? I'm keeping the complete engine and driveline. Not sure about the sport HL, but Mark has dibs on them. I might just keep the sport turn lamps. Hanging onto wheels/tires too.

Oh, hard bed cover. Needs one "shock" thing. short bed.

Just holler. I'm on a borrowed PC right now. Pretty fast but graphics part of the machine are weak.

carry on.

Yep and I plan on keeping Dibs on them till you tell me other wise! ;) :-laf

Request for part: The part of the passenger seat bracket that the adjustment arm is rivoted too. Mine is broken at the rivot, and I cannot adjust my pass. seat. #@$%! :{

HELP! Wade :-laf

I suck. I needs the radio--it's got the CD player.

Whole assembly Mark. That would look funny. Hey but you can have the driver's seat. The adjuster stuff might work. But don't get in a hurry. I have to sit somewhere while I'm driving it around. The headlights aren't perfectly clear. I wanna see if I can clean 'em up.

Yep, drove it around. NO belt. DAmmmm freakin fan wouldn't come off, so I pulled the belt. "no bus" says the ECU.

Oh and I drove a 500hp ford (#2 only but set up for drugs) today--real tight Suncoast in it. Well, later we played and even though my truck is defueling at 40 psi and I'm rowing like a guy in a simple boat--he didn't put much on me. :D

STATE FARM!!! yeeeehaaaa! I get my truck fixed properly. Found this out from Barry Mitchell of Ivy Bluff Auto Salvage. ;)

If you EVER wad one up--pray that the other party (provided it ain't a solo :eek: ) doesn't have some SKREWED UP ins co. like GEICO or Direct or such.

I understand that GEICO is the absolute worst.

Government Employee Insurance CO. What would you expect.

500 Powerstroke HP and 500 Cummins HP just ain't the same... Good friend of ours is just a fordaholic. He can't see straight he likes fords so much. It amazes me just how ignorant some people are sometimes. He don't understand why he can add the same hp to his truck as we do to ours, but it doesn' t feel the same or run as good. "How come mine don't run like that? I put 100 HP on mine too!" I have tried very nicely to explaing to him that he has an inferior motor. I said it's all on where you put the power... I added mine from 1700rpm to 3200rpm. You added yours from 3100rpm to 3400rpm :D He loved that! Oo.

Truck News

Well I decided today that my EGTs weren't getting hot enough so I ordered a set of Mach 5s from Olee Poole and I've ordered an HTB2 charger but there's about a 3 week wait on them. I'm gonna try a few more things between now and the first of the year and see if I can't bust 500 HP with no wire-tap. We'll see... :p :D

Have I shocked anyone? :eek: :cool:

At least this will force me to put the AirDog on. :-laf

Garrick, Gap, and Joe - I probably won't know until tomorrow if I'll be at the drag strip Friday night. I'm sure I won't have any problems finding you guys though! Save me a spot just in case, or give me a call and we'll meet up somewhere.
