Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Hey did you check for birds lodged into the stacks from towing it backwards?

We actually stopped about 1/2 a mile from where we loaded the truck, pulled the stacks, and bagged the outlets to keep debris out. We just wanted to get out of the folks way whom we were blocking while loading. Then snug stuff up, bag stacks, etc. Paul must've snapped that pic RIGHT after pulling out of Jeff's.

When I first saw that clutch disc pic I almost thought it was a SBC! :-laf

Then I finally saw one of the pressure plate and YEP that's a Mitchell.

Congrats on the good find on the clutch. Shouldn't be much trouble to sell for $1300-1400. ;) Retails for $1700

Well guys I wont be able to make the Atwood pull. Our congregations have been collecting food/water/clothing for Katrina/Rita and I volunteered to pull my 16' enclosed if they need. Well they need, so I will be gone with a load of stuff down to the battle zone gulf coast region.

I will try to remember some photos and share them when I get back. We're supposed to leave out Saturday sometime.

Hope I can find fuel to get home

WE might mark, thinking off putting some more aggresive tires on Ol smokey to pull on.

(fixed it for ya  :-laf )

Well I can always steal Dilberts worn out 33" Mastercraft Mudders off his truck since its DOS (Dead On Site#ad
) they don't have enough tread on them for me to tear up anything. :-laf

Thinking of trying a few different things Saturday. Hey Gap did you ever find out anything about rules? What about blocks?

So Mark are you gonna bring your truck and pull? Hope you do - I've yet to see you pull in person.

I guess me and Shay will be the only ones not pulling. :-laf We just don't want to get our pretty, white duallys dirty. :p

I went down to New Orleans right after Katrina hit to help Shannon's Momma patch her roof and fuel was no problem to find, awful darn cheap too, like 45-60 cents cheaper!!! ;) Made me mad  knowing what we were paying up here, but I was also getting gas for Shannon's car and not diesel, but I would imagine that it would be the same.

Heavy Hauler- Yep, we can't go getin our purty duallys dirty now can we, they gotta look good for the ride home!!!!! :-laf

Oh yeah... did y'all see this pic? It's #6 out of Ol' Smokey. YIKES!!! I'm gonna run it through a parts washer and clean it up so Gap can have a purdy paperweight. :) More pics of it later.

Well, as of tonite, I won't be able to get to Atwood with y'all. Dad (83) had a run-in with one of his jackasses. Guess he found out who the bigger jackass was anyway :-{} ... ... can't move his right arm. Won't go to the doc..... he just called me to move some hay for him cause he can't drive the tractor. It shouldn't take all day, so there's still a little hope to get there.

What a dork!

Who's gonna win the stock truck pulloff?

John Feger: stock 01, 3. 55, long bed, 35s

Gap: stock 01, 4. 10, short bed, 33s

Be funny! Who sucks the most?

We'll at least we'll both beat Mark! :D

"The Electrician", Hope you make it...

Got a question:

What is everyones opinion of installing a FASS system verses installing a holley blue pump pusher, or similar but eliminate the stock LP?

Cost is an issue, so up front you get hit hard going with the FASS.

But in the long run which would be the better system?????

Just thinking of future upgrades. I am not comfortable with my fuel pressure these days. Its not bad, but gets sucked down close to 0 WOT. So I am looking at options now before I have no time to look..... :-laf

Any thoughts too on these hotrod vp's? And how much truth is there in actually gaining up to 100hp from running a hotrod vp?

Unless I'm mistaken, Meacham said he didn't get anything from the HRVP but a quicker failing pump.

The Holly Blue and the Carter sometin'er'other seem to be awful popular. Did you call Keith at DD? I think theirs is a touch over $300. You could also do JUST the FASS pump without the filters. Save a little bit there.

Call Joe and Meacham and see what they can get and at what price.

Hey Gator, the unit that I am attached to just got back from down around Gulfport and they brought back some of those already made lunches, not MRE's, but lunches with sandwiches, fruit cups, ravioli( or something to that affect) and they don't know what to do with it. If you think that you guys will need it for your trip, or if you want to take it to give to the people down there, let me know and we will hook up before you go and pass them off for ya. I've got 2 or 3 boxes of them, just holler if ya need em!!!
