Dave didn't get involved until I slammed him. Once I slammed him, e-mail and phone calls started miraculously flying.



I've got no use for Dave. There are too many other reputable builders and installers out there to go through this mess again.

alright now, just cool the jets there big boy, the person that called me was the owner of the transmission, and that was not you... ... ... ... ... . as soon as he called me i told him all the different dates he could bring it in. it took him about a month to get the truck to us to be able to get some pressure readings and some data to see what the problem was. there was no reason to get dave into the mix until you have some data to give him. . it would be like someone calling a repair shop and saying my truck is not running, order some parts to fix it and i will be in on monday, without having any other data... What do you order? you order nothing until you look at it and get some data. My phone has been ringing off the hook with people telling me how far out of line you are on this andy but all i can tell them is you just don't understand and it don't look like you are going to. that is why you do, what you do and i do what i do. i would not even be able to begin to understand what you do. that is why i stick to what i know best. our recommendation is that you do the same.

You know, I've kind of set back and read your posts on this forum for quite a while now and just sit back in amazement. I've kept my mouth shut EVEN when you bashed me and the company that I work for. I never have promoted my job place here at DPP because of my good friends Joe and Meacham that buy product from us and are very fair people. You got mad and bent out of shape because you tried to back door the both of them and come straight to us and get a better deal... even tried to get their price on the pump. Man, that is as low as it gets to back stab your friends like that. Especially the ones that have been nothing but hospitable to you and everyone else on this forum. I didn't drop my pants to give you royal treatment because you were Vice President. To me, that is the same thing as a snotty nosed little brat (which is the way your posts seem to be portraying) when it comes to my dealers. We take care of our people and they in turn take care of us. I don't appreciate you bad mouthing our company because your plan didn't work, much less bad mouthing Joe and Meacham which I thought were your friends at one time.



This is pretty sad the way it has turned out. But, I guess that everyones real color comes out eventually... no matter how dark it is.



Like a saying that a very wise man said today, I will pass on to you. Don't leave angry... just leave.

I don't have anything against you Meacham, and I feel that a lot of what you just said is either an exaageration or is untrue.



I haven't said Perfection Clutch is the end-all be-all. I haven't said anything negative about SBC. There WAS a botched install of an SBC, and that certainly wasn't SBC's fault... I never even came close to implying that it was. Peter even put a post in my thread THANKING me for the information. I really don't understand why you all hold Perfection Clutch against me. Gary is a SUPER guy, a would-be friend to ALL of you. He's not a salesman, he just works for a manufaturer.





I still am unclear on what transpired with DPP... All I know is I needed a pump and couldn't get a hold of Joe. I called Mark who subsequently treated me LIKE CRAP. He implied that I was trying to pull one over on Joe. That was untrue, and Joe should even agree that I wasn't trying to go "around him" to get a better deal from Mark. In my opinion, Joe didn't do anything wrong on that deal and I don't hold him the least bit responsible for fiasco. I DO hold Mark responsible though. They treated me awful. Why should I want to deal with them????





C'mon Meacham is your only beef with me that I try and get good deals for my friends? I look at most of these guys like me. I drive the nicest truck I can afford. Stuff for this truck is expensive and when it breaks my family suffers. I'm a single income family Meacham. My wife stays at home and homeschools our kids. If my truck craps out, we're in trouble. I try to get people the best deal I can so when I need help I'll have someone willing to lend a hand to help me... Y'all are certainly doing a good job of trying to change all that.



I would REALLY like to see some hard proof of how negative I have been for such a long time.



I don't know whats wrong with either of you... but I'm willing to duke it out. I reckon I should drive out there in the morning. Meet me halfway? It's expensive to drive all the way to lebanon just to fight.

Let me edit my previous statement. I'm wondering how you know what I said on the phone? I talked to Mark. I never talked to you. If you believe what you typed, you have been mis-informed. The facts are that When I called, I immediately identified myself and said that I usually buy from Joe, but I could not get a hold of Joe. I had a truck on the road dead, and had to have a pump by days end. I even told Mark that I was in no way trying to get a better price... I simply needed a pump. I DO have a witness that was with me and heard my side of the conversation. The fact continues that I didn't even ask Mark for a price. I only asked if: A. He would see me a pump. and B. Could I pick one up THAT day if unable to get one from Joe.



The pump WAS indeed purchsed from Joe THAT day at regular price.



Those are the facts, those are indisputable. Those facts can be backed up by a witness.



Shame on you for acting like a 6th grader and making stuff up.

A smattering (2 or 3) negative from January to April



Is that how you quantify being angry about "everything"? You are being unfair to me.

Incorrect. I noted that I had had an issue with a "site sponser". I did not name names. I also NEVER talked BAD ABOUT anyone who did business with them.





I believe you have exagerated and/or have mis-information. If you are going to jump on my back like the others, please have facts to back your claims.

Andy, I have called and/or e-mailed Joe on more than one occasion asking "What's up with Andy?". No slamming. No trash talk. I was concerned with what was going on between two friends. I even told Joe I ought to call you and talk to you about it but I never did because Joe always played it down by saying something like "I don't know. Why?" like he didn't know anything about it or "It's just a misunderstanding. " He never gave me any details. He's never said one negative thing to me about you. I called and asked him what was up after Gap said something about "Don't say nothing about a transmission... ". I knew nothing of the transmission thread until you posted about the "infamous transmission debacle" and I searched it out. Joe obviously knew about it when I asked but chose not to inform me of any details. I said all that to say, don't take Joe for an enemy.



I have noticed a change in your attitude. Your replies to these posts are just more evidence. Your talking about brawling and talking with "*?@#$%". An intelligent man like yourself doesn't need to do that to express himself. Something's changed. Something's wrong. Other's here have noticed it, too. I wish you the best and I hate it's come down to this. I sincerely hope you have worked it out with Joe.

I'd like to think that Joe and I have come to a gentleman's agreement. We had a civil, adult, and reasonable conversation on the phone earlier.

Some of the things said about me are absurd, and I would like to believe that you all know me better than to believe the defamation written about me.

Andy, I dont post much but I read everything and I can tell you for sure that Joe has not said anything negative about you this whole time. The only time he has gotten mad is about the whole transmission thread and the only reason over that is because you was bashing Dave. Dave is a stand up guy and was in contact the whole time because Joe always put him on speaker phone when he called so him and I could be on the same page. He told us what to look for and check, we where just waiting on the truck. Dave has always been there for us so I will leave it at that.



I do remember you posting somewhere about you would not be dealing with DPP or do any business with anyone who used them as a supplier. That is fine but going on here and trying to get everyone to use other people besides the local shops because of your experience is talking negative about us. We are here just trying to make a living like you. Yes you may have had a bad experience, probably due to a big misunderstanding(I dont know), but you have taken this whole thing way out of line. You have always seemed like a good guy the times I have meet you and I really dont have anything against you now. I just kinda wish this whole thing would die and just everyone move on.



On a side note: I think it has to do with the cummins. Powerstroke owners are alot more calm and relaxed. I can get ahold of some 7. 3's and help everyone swap them over.

Man, and I ever sorry that I asked about this transmission deal!! I dont like what has happened and I hope that in the long run it will be resolved and everyone will remain friends. Life is way to short for friendships to end over something like this. Andy, I just wanted to say that I wish you the best, and I also wanted to say thanks for welcoming me to TDR and the Mid-Tenn chapter. In case you guys dont know, yall are kind of hard to get to know and become friends with, since so many of yall work together, have been friends for a long while, and in general we are all extremely busy. Andy you always said hello and introduced your self and I felt like I had someone I knew in TDR. Thanks again. I really like how everyone has come out to try to resolve this matter, because in my opinion there is not a better group of guys anywhere, that goes for Andy, Joe, Meacham, Scott, and everybody that participates on this roundtable. Lets not lose site of why we are all here and why we have this common interest.
