Let me edit my previous statement. I'm wondering how you know what I said on the phone? I talked to Mark. I never talked to you. If you believe what you typed, you have been mis-informed. The facts are that When I called, I immediately identified myself and said that I usually buy from Joe, but I could not get a hold of Joe. I had a truck on the road dead, and had to have a pump by days end. I even told Mark that I was in no way trying to get a better price... I simply needed a pump. I DO have a witness that was with me and heard my side of the conversation. The fact continues that I didn't even ask Mark for a price. I only asked if: A. He would see me a pump. and B. Could I pick one up THAT day if unable to get one from Joe.
The pump WAS indeed purchsed from Joe THAT day at regular price.
Those are the facts, those are indisputable. Those facts can be backed up by a witness.
Shame on you for acting like a 6th grader and making stuff up.
Well, here we go pointing fingers with the he said she said junk. I tried to leave it alone and brush it off, but I don't like the fact that local shops are being dissed and out of state shops are being praised with good prices. Good prices are one thing, but customer service and loyaly out weighs the price anyday.
I want this to die and everything go back to the way it was, but when my company and everything that I work hard for day in and day out is being trashed, I take offense. I don't need a witness to tell me what happened that day. I remember it VERY clearly because I was the one you spoke to, NOT Mark. I was the one that answered the phone and handled the situation. If you feel like you were mistreated, I am sorry for that. I told you what I frequently tell other local people when they call, that I am not going to step on Joe's toes and take an order away from them. Why in the world would I do that for one person when the local shops come back repeatedly for other orders? I called Joe as soon as I got off the phone with you to see what was going on with the situation. I got through to him no problem at all. It later came about that you were trying him on his cell phone which is hard for him to answer sometimes if he's head first into his work. Perhaps you didn't have another number for him, I don't know. But that was never discussed in our conversation.
I just say all of this to clear things up. We do not mistreat people here. We pride ourselves on customer service, that's why we have grown into what we are now. We take care of our people that do business with us, that's why I turned you away and said that it would be better to go through Joe with this situation. But bad mouthing us as a company for being loyal to our people and then saying you would never do business with us or companies that do business with us is very unacceptable.
You are a good person and I have enjoyed being around you at TDR meets and local pulls. But what's going on man? Like others are saying in the posts... somethings changed. I/we want the best for you. I hope everyone can get over this junior high crap. Good luck to you.
NOW... I think we all need to have a meet so we can have one massive group hug! Yes, a group hug for the Mid-TN gang will do much good! HA! If it makes anyone feel better, you know we can always pick on Brad and his Power Stroke! HA!
I hope everyone can drop their fists and get past this. I will be waiting for the next meeting warming up my vocal cords to sing Kum-ba-yah after the group hug.
