Mooretown and more.
I wonder the same thing too. Probably all my fault.
I suppose folks are spending time at all the other forums out there. Many free-no-magazine sites you know. I think interweb is taking over magazines for some segments of the population.
And I've not been as active here as back when it was all new to me... Most of my online time now is bicycle related--which covers my new direction in bidness and recreation. Bike racing is SOOOOOOOOOO much cheaper than truck pulling/racing and it promotes my product (when I have some).
There were only three of "us"-the original bunch at Bean's open house this year. That sucked. They always put on good eats and have a permanent burnout pad. Bean is getting a portable inertia dyno this week according to the wind that blows across the highway.

He's been busy removing two cyclinders from a bunch of fords. Listen before you pounce :-laf , it might not have that fluttery sound anymore.
I blew my day off getting a starter overhaul and doing the R&R (on the ground again) Good news is that the truck starts WAY better again. No more tapping the footfeed and hoping not to get a click-and crawl under tap situation.
Now that my "fingers are dirty" again, I'm going to pull the rear end down and get the green one going. Still need a fan hub--or I might get that fixed at the 'chine shop, so I can have A/C again in the red truck. I'll still need an OEM fan.
I'll sell the 24v to anyone who makes an offer.
I'm closing my antiques mall 14 August and going to Dahlonega GA for a 50/100 mile mountain bike race that weekend. Need to sell building and 5 acres. My b-day Friday.
MOORETOWN PULL AUG 9. Bean and Mike Stoner are the big dawgs up here--any challengers?! Or are converted fords going to dominate? There was a stout chubby last time, but it was really quiet and boring. :-laf Bring dixie cups for your beer.
How about a tire roasting contest at Bean's? With awards and judges? After things cool down a bit... discuss.
That's the news from The Ragged Edge of the Highland Rim East.
