Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Been way busy. My red truck has been parked in my shop for a week and stuff has been piling up on it.

Stomped a Ford Saturday morning. :D Stomped a Ricer this afternoon--he complained _after the stomping_ that I had 8 cylinders to his 4.

The green truck is quick enough I guess. Can't wait to 4WD launch on somebody! ---oh yeah there's this Lightning looking for a race... ;)

What else? Rode 40 miles Thursday and 64 miles on Saturday-bicycle. :p

Dang Mark! That truck is WHITE!?!?! hmmmph! I never knew it!:D :p It does look sharp man.

Oh, I saw a Ferarri in Bethpage this weekend. What's up with that Mark? WHAT A PIECE! Id've given anything for my camera. First Ferarri I've ever seen parked in the yard with grass all grown up around it.

Been lookin in every chance I get ... . been wiring a house in Kingston-damn-Springs, finished that, then Dad had foot surgery... had to run to W. Nashville every evening for a couple o'weeks to do his work, now my son's baseball is taking all the rest of my "spare" time in tournaments. Have to come to work to get some rest and pay for sunscreen. BTW, any final word on May meeting?

Hey Andy, throw some 33 or 35x12. 50xR17's on some 17x10's on your truck and see how easy it is to keep clean! :p :p :p :-laf

What were you doing in Bethpage this weekend? Its amazing that you didn't see me fly by in a white streak cause after I got done washing the truck I had about 20 minutes to make it to the new girlfriends house on the edge of Portland from my house in Bethpage... ... I made it in 18 :-laf

I had to go to a wedding at Siloam Baptist Church. I got there about 3:30, and left about 4:30. Nice 150 mile round trip for an hour stay. I was on the lookout for ya, but didn't see you.

Ahh you were about 20 minutes away from my house. I live off of Hwy 231 on Scott Rd.

Yeah that Westmoreland Ridge is a good race/test hill isn't it? ;) :-laf

I passed a semi going up it last Aug. with my old "take-out" clutch and my parents were following me (hauling my chevy to the lafayette mud-run) and all I had were my Marine 300 Injectors & my OE plate full fwd. We get to Lafayette and mom was all like "you passed that semi" I looked @ her straight faced and said "yeah mom, and if I had a clutch that would hold all the power I have for this truck I would have passed him a lot QUICKER! :-laf :-laf :-laf

Mark - I spotted a really nice white 4x4 extended cab LWB 3/4 ton in Lexington a few days ago. It's really sharp - looks just like the one they put on the cover of issue #?? that was parked on the side of the green hill. Anyway, I didn't get a chance to see if it was 12V/24V or club or quad cab. I don't really know the name of the lot, but I'll try to find out if you're interested. I'm in Memphis for the next week and a half.

Oh yeah, are you in Humphreys county or Sumner? I know of two Bethpages. If you're in Humphreys, the truck is about 60 miles from you.

Let me know. I could probably call the chamber of commerce and get the name of the dealer.

I'm in Sumner County. Did you mean Lexington KY? Surely not cause I'm just below Scottsville KY and Lexington is 3. 5 hrs away hauling tail.

Anyhow let me know more about that truck if you can. I've started stripping mine today of the things I wasn't going to let go with the truck.

Tomorrow I hope to get the PDR 370's out, but I dunno will have to get up really early and find my OE 215's! Also pulling the amp and subs out tomorrow possibly. Man if this guy doesn't buy this truck I'm not gonna be happy! :-laf

Then again if he doesn't I'll be pulling even more off throughout next week and putting it in the Wheels & Deals if he doesn't! :-laf

Oh well we'll see. :-laf

No, Lexington, TN. With you being in Sumner County, the truck is about 3 hours from you. Lexington is basically located along I-40 west of Nashville. It's less than 2 hours from there.

I don't know if you want to deal with something that far away - so let me know if you're really interested before I start making phone calls.

I've been looking at trucks outta state on line so yeah I'm interested. If you could find out more I'd really appreciate it. I leave Thursday morning for Ohio and I'll be gone till late Saturday. Hopefully a guy up there is going to buy my truck, so then maybe I could look into this one next week. Oo.

Thanks,

Mark

Hey Chris K,

I've been meaning to post again regarding your Jannetty's. If brother Paul doesn't want them when it becomes time to switch to the new EDM's or DDIII's or what-not, please let me know. Paul of course has first dibs, but keep me in mind for a backup buyer. :)

see ya guys,

Andy

Don't hold anything for me... . can't bring myself to give the warranty away just yet. Thanks for keeping me in mind though.

That wacky lift pump....

Had a strange thing happen to me this weekend. Sitting there and glanced at the Fuel Press. gauge and it was reading 7-8 psi. Turned the truck off and restrated it. The gauge read 12 psi. and then dropped to 7-8 psi after about a minute. Took off down the road and the pressure rose back to 12 psi. On the trip back from Jackson towing a 20 ft. trailer, I could not pull the pressure under 10 psi even doing 85 mph. So, what the heck is going on?

I am going to change the fuel filter this week (filter is only about 6 months old) and clean the connections. I plan on getting a spare LP at Cummins this week because I have to run to Raleigh, NC this weekend and I don't want to be stranded.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Jay

6MOS OLD!!! WOW!! Man, I usually change mine every 7-10K miles. That may just because I don't know any better.

That's not very helpful I know. Sorry man, I wish I could be of more help. I'm still pretty green.

Good luck,

/abg

Hey ya'll. I didn't see this thread until just now. I live in Cheatham Co. & have a stock first gen. I'm looking for someone to rebuild the rear diff before it grenades. I could scoop out some metal on my finger & this truck has a Dana 70 custom build to Dodge specs. Any shop recommendations would be appreciated.

Got Smoke's 4x4 seems appealing. Think I can handle it coming up from a stock 4x2 first gen ;)

Thanks,

Brian Toscano

Jay I am sure your fine. I would not worry about it unless it becomes an ongoing problem. I think your gauge is electrical. I see electrical components do unexplainable things a lot at work.
