Hey ya'll. I didn't see this thread until just now. I live in Cheatham Co. & have a stock first gen. I'm looking for someone to rebuild the rear diff before it grenades. I could scoop out some metal on my finger & this truck has a Dana 70 custom build to Dodge specs. Any shop recommendations would be appreciated.

Got Smoke's 4x4 seems appealing. Think I can handle it coming up from a stock 4x2 first gen ;)

Thanks,

Brian Toscano

Brian I responded to your other thread with some information on where to find a rebuilder. Also if you would like the truck the first $10,500 takes her home!;) :D

Injectors

Andyman I will keep you in mind for sure, Rod @ Wildcat said probably late May on final testing of those bigger ones I want, so I figure June for sale. My injectors will be priced right to whoever wants them Paul or you, or whomever. I just need to move them to help offset purchase of new ones. Hey Meacham thanks again, I went ahead and put it on last nite. Power should be :--) with the two together.

CHEATHAM COUNTY!!!! WHOO HOOO!!! I'm a Cheatham County Native, and live in Pleasant View now. Which side of the river do you live on (Please say the Ashland City Side)? I know some GREAT mechanics, and a fab rear end guy. HEY HEY!! Not THAT kind of rear end!

Gimme a shout some time,

Andy

Yeah I'm not sure if we are having anything in May or not..... where's our Pres. to say ::coughcoughAHEM!::

I for one CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THUNDER IN MUNCIE! Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

A buddy of mine in OH. has a 94 2500 reg cab with stacks and a special SBC Street Dual Disk and he's gonna pull @ TiM. I'll be playing tow truck driver this time! :-laf Oh well. Hope to have my Club/Quad Cab by TiM too for the better comfort all the way there!!

Working with (Joe) from the Dyno day to fix his truck. Got water in the oil and oil in the water. Suspected oil cooler. Replaced it with new and have pulled it out twice to make sure it wasn't leaking. Pulled head last night and could find a leak there. Also noticed the dowel pin has fell and cracked the front cover. Still can't figure out what is causing the oil in the water and then the water in the oil?? Any ideas fellows? Any body here pulled a front cover yet?? Where are down to pulling the cam now... .

12 Valve guys.....

anybody got ANY size thickness copper washers just lying around? I don't care as long as they are the same thickness. I threw my 215's back in while preparing the truck to sale and I don't know where the rest of my washers are from my PDR box and now 3 of my 215's are leaking.

Spoke with Wade day before yesterday I think... ... he's been working on the 99 for a while... ... . he didn't quite say what but I think he's finally installing that new fuel system. I dunno.

If any of you guys have some washers I'll give you a couple of bucks for 'em I just don't want to have to order a whole kit when all I need are 6 matching washers. Thanks

Hey guys I got a friend of mine that is working on his '97, does anyone have any hot rod parts for this year, its an automatic, he needs that deep pan, he has an exhaust and intake and gauges, let me know.

HotRam03

The 97' can be a bad boy(215 pump) but, the transmission will need an infusion of ATS or DTT parts and the building can begin. Cut DV's, Injectors, 3 or 4K GSK, Turbo, Guages, cam, head porting, o'rings, studs, exhaust, you know, the usual stuff. But it can be a real bad boy!!!

Meacham

:D :D

Buddy of mine (Joe) had KDP failure and also getting oil in the water. We stripped the thing down and can't find anything. Expecting the internal damage that will never find without complete disassembly we check for new/rebuilt/used motors. Just to let ya'll know, we found a 1997 used motor with 130,000 and 215 pump for $1,000. I was shocked!! We got some spare parts now, including a second 215 pump and head...

Hey Gap can you find me a used transfer case cheap?!? :{

My shifter fork needs to be replaced on the inside, it has nylon pads which have worn out and are causing me some problems I made a post about a while back. I want to get this fixed before I sold the truck, as I have SEVERAL buyers lined up, but I cannot find anyone to do the work! :{ So if you can find me another NP241 cheap enough I may take that route. Seeing as I have two people who want my truck NEXT WEEK.

Sorry I ain't been around. I have washers.

I'll take a spare 12v/215 for $1000 any day.

Been mowing and fishing. Trucks being neglected. U-joint popping in one, brakes pulling in the other.

Named the cat "Turbo".

Fished from daylight to dark, must sleep now.

Hello to all newcomers. I'm usually around more. Will be back soon.

#1, I raided Ken's dad's shop till I found the box my PDR's came in! :-laf Also found his OE plate, and Gov springs on the floor in a TST box... ... tisk . . tisk. . :rolleyes :-laf

#2 you got a cat?

#3 lucky B****** I wish I could have gone fishing today instead of having to drive around all day getting several things done.

#4 lazy bum :p :-laf ;)

Fishing ain't lazy. Not the way I do it. :p ;)

If yall missed Meacham's last post (on the MC pull thread), it appears that his White truck is back on the road. With a BIG double turbo setup and tons of fuel. I'll bet the ET responds nicely. :D

Might not be able to drive it in the rain--except in 4WD. ;)
