miles on Truck when you took Delivery

My paperwork says 12 miles, came straight off the semi and detailed ect. 22,450 miles now, just over a year.

1210 when I signed the paperwork. I was "stranded" 1200 miles from home, and didn't want to leave my fifth wheel behind. I could have bought another truck (same dealer) with under 20 on it, but preferred the options on the "high mileage" truck. The dealer knocked 8k off the price, threw in a new B&W, and filled the tank. The truck is great, and I don't really care how it acquired its' first miles!

New Truck Mileage On Delivery

I special ordered my new 06 CDT 2500 and had the dealer install the cummins exhaust brake on it. The truck had 10 miles on it when I first saw it and after the test drive it had 50 miles on it before I paid for it.

I TESTED EVERTHING, I CRAWLED UNDER EVERTHING, I LOOKED AT EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY CHECKING FOR ANY BONDO, ANY SCATCHES, ANY DINGS OR DENTS, ANY OIL LEAKS, ANY SQUEAKS, RATTLES, EVEN TESTED THE CD PLAYER.

The dealer prepped it right as I never found anything but the right rear tailgate cable was longer than the left cable. They changed it on the spot.

Southland Dodge - Houma, LA

This was the third Dodge I purchased from them and they knew I was going to check this truck inside and out, over and under because I did this same type of inspection on the other trucks and for some reason that I can't figure out they knew I was going to check this truck out. Haaaaaaaa I guess they knew me well enough.

In reality, the mileage on the trucks when delivered to us should be as low as possible as we are paying BIG BUCKS for our toy and we want to enjoy every mile of it.
