minor rough idle loss of power and fuel milage

I have a 2006 5.9L engine all stock with about 165k miles on it I've noticed over the last couple of years a rough idle sometimes and my hwy mileage has dropped from 18+mpg to 15-mpg also It feels like the truck has lost some power. it doesn't accelerate with a load like it use to. I tried fuel additives like lucus and some others but they don't seam to make any difference. Is it time to replace my injectors? is there any way to check them? could the wastegate cause this problem? can anyone help?

It does sound like you could be seeing signs of injector issues. Have you noticed any difference in exhaust smoke or increase in engine oil level?

Where are you located? Maybe we can help you find a good local shop that could test those injectors for you.

Sounds like the FCA .Try some 2 stroke oil in the fuel tank if it smooths out then replace the FCA

fca is the fuel control actuator. They get sticky and the 2stroke oil loosens it up. It is located on the back of the CP3 pump. I would throw in a quart it won't hurt anything.
