Ideas for a MN Charity Dyno Day

North Dakota Chapter Meeting

90% sure I will be there (not necessarily needing a dyno spot) but I will have a grill and some plates etc for those who want to bring their own chow. Does anyone have a tap and die set? If possible, I may be looking to drop an egt probe in time/weather allowing.

I have the correct tap, I may or may not have the correct drill bit in the edge box (if I remember I'll look). need a nice drill as there's alot of meta to drill out.

I make my living with dewalt 18v cordless in the winter, I'll bring the better drill, several batteries and a charger. If you can't locate the correct bit, let me know, I may have the correct size, or I'll be sure to pick up a fresh bit. Thanks Jason.

I should be able to make it , but I'm looking for a overflow valve [ local ] to be sure I get it before then and try to avoid shipping ?
I'm trying to find one in the T. C. area .
Thanks

Found the tap and a drill bit that I used. heh, they were both sitting in my juice/attitude box for over a year and half now.

The drill bit looks in good shape, only used once. Bring some lube for the bit (tho, I didn't use any my self, but may help) and a magnet for the shavings and we'll get your EGT installed in no time flat.

Also, any wire ends and crimpers and tools for the electrical should be on hand. if you need any of that let me know, I just started a new "truck wire kit" recently with the addition of the FP guage and the rail pressure gauge that I hope will be here this week.

Bring what you got, I also have a small "wiring tool box" that I will bring, we should be able to get it together between the two of us. It also shouldn't require much (if any) extra wiring, its the juice box from Edge.

Thanks,

Matt

Het Jim,

When do plan on heading west? Let me know if you want to meet up and 'mini-convoy' over to hi-tech, but you have to promise to take it easy on the go pedal, cause my truck is still stock. :D

Gentlemen!

I have great news! I just got off the phone with Neil from the DHRA. We are going to have some excellent prizes to give away this weekend!

I'll be getting them today... . I'll try to post something about what all we have when I find out what all will have!
