On here Don M said there was a EGT reduction observed with his injectors versus stock. Did TG test stock injectors today followed by Flux injectors with all other things being equal, i. e. FASS 150 pump to ensure modded CP3 works per Floor It recommendations?

you will here from tommy when he is done driving his new big rig powered truck!!! :D good #'s tommy  ---i told you guys from the start you need injectors, fass 150 fuel pump and modded cp3 and railcap to realize the full potential of your truck, tommy did all but 1. if he chooses, the rail cap will add about 30-40+ hp on top of what he has now :p :-laf again good job tommy :-laf :-laf

How do you figure the rail cap will give 30 HP??? If he isn't running enough rail pressure to blow the relief valve open, there won't be any benefit.

yeah boy... LONG DAY!

Finally home at 12:36am - left here this morning at 4:15am

I will post a full-blown review of the FLUX injectors I now have , and trust me there is ALOT to mention about these injectors...

BUT, I'll go ahead and let you all know Big RED cracked 600 this afternoon.

601,602,604. 8 to be exact.

And the best part? 1325 was the max EGT on the 604. 8 run, on the street I have it on the 550hp setting, and I can bearly get to 1250... .

MORE TO COME TOMORROW, Right now I am see tired I think I am seeing double, later ya'll

the stock relief valve will bleed off quite a bit of pressure the closer you get to high pressure the more it will bleed off---it wont blow open unless you get a rail spike of 25k plus or more, the valve is very weak and it does get weaker :{ ----for every 1,000psi you gain you will gain about 10-15hp as a rule of thumb the rail cap over the stocker on a stock truck will give a min of 2-3000 more psi :D ---because there is no bleed off or seepage or blowing off completly, its well worth the $100  , though the opperable relief valve will be good too for about 35k, but what about some one who wants to go higher than that? we have every angle covered ;) ---also you and i have talked about the electronics that are soon to be finished Oo. ---that will allow a whole new level of controll in the common rail fuel system!! thanks :-laf :-laf

NGM Diesel Performance

I got the stage 1 mod and am very happy with the results. on level 6-5 the truck would fall on it's face and come back on several times. Now it's smooth all the way through a 0-80 and on. I'm still running the 95 FASS but am going to try to get the 1/2" fuel line from the tank on and take out all the banjo's and replace the fuel lines to the CP3 before next weeks dyno at Forest City diesel.

I think your 600 mark is gonna be a target of quite a few around now :-laf

Don you got those sticks for the 600's yet?

dons injectors are not the only ones able to make powerhouse #'s, the only other reccomendation are industrial injections---they work just as well if not better (power wise) than dons, but good luck finding some every one is on back order right now. :-laf

Lets just leave it at "equal"

Cause I have NEVER heard of someone with an 03 motors and an I. I. injector pick up 80 hp AND drop egts down to 1320* with only a 66mm turbo... (at the 600hp level)

I'll will say both brands are great, But I'll never claim one is better than the other. Not unless I have tried both, which I have not... .

Whats so funny is that making this power was all with bolt on parts. I mean what was so hard? Other than the injectors, I have installed all the parts myself. (EDIT - forgot the Cp3, had that installed too - I'm not a big fan of turning my own wrenches... Unless I have too :))

I used to wish I had my old 2nd gen so I could run a drag comp and big sticks (mach 6's), heck with that!!! - Give me 2 boxes and 100hp sticks, and i'm good!

I see the 600 club getting huge within 3 months, no doubt

Lets remember this is not a brand war or even brand loyalist thread. Lets put those somewhere else. This is a review of what Tommy HAS done to his truck and his likes/dislikes on any of it. It is a thread meant to share Tommy's experience with the stage 1 mod and his injectors (regardless of who he bought them from or who made them) so lets not get into a who's got a better product than whomever.

BTW - last night I played with a DRB3 - But it was raining

So in 4x4 on TST 5/4 - the rail wanted 22000 psi, and the cp3 gave it 22000 psi (or so)... .

But we already knew that, I made good power on that setting.

I will try to bring a DRB3 to the dyno day this saturday... (if I get caught will ya'll pay my bail for the theif charge?, haha)

Oo. thats right, it was just a reminder for those that did not know---they are both great injectors, and the only 2 that have been used on the modded cp3's. i never said that one was better than the other!! tom with the right combo you will see results like that pretty often :-laf
