Nope, ain't gonna either. Molybdenum coats metal parts as heat is applied. This changes clearances and friction coefficients. If the factory thought this was good for you and them, they would put it in and charge you for it. Want proof? check out the November issue of Shooting Times and read the article on moly coated bullets and the test results. IMHO, stick with the factory recommended lubricants.

Ol Ron I have played some with moly bullets some guns really like them and other don't. My 17 Rem custom rifle shoots one hole groups all day long(I have shot up to 95 on one dog town) with molyed bergers and the same bullet shoots fine until there 20 or so rounds through the gun and then there all over.
I also have my compitition handgun coated in Brownells teflon/moly bake on finish, and it is by far the best protection I have ever had on a gun.

What gave me the idea was helping a kid assemble a SB cheby and the lube that came with the new cam was fully of moly. I have found a moly gear oil additive but no engine additive as of yet.

My rule of thumb:
If you have to add something to your oils, you are not using the right oils!

Try it out, let us know!!

Moly was one of the ingredients in Slick50 engine treatment. I used it on one diesel tractor, the engine had to be rebuilt two weeks later. I'd be leery.
