Mopar Step bars

For those who have Mopar Step bars: check for rust and that the mounts are solid. One of my side steps were loose and I noticed some surface rust on the bottom, Chrysler replaced both step bars and mounts no questions asked under the 36K warranty since I've only had the truck for 2 years and just turned 36K miles. The bars were installed by the dealer when I bought the truck new.

I'm gonna check mine when I get home. I ordered them with my truck and I hate them. They either need to come down or out and inch or two but the suck where they are. I hope mine are rusted... .
