A friend of mine took his '96 to the local mufler shop yesterday and had his muffler removed and a brand new set of duals ran out the back with nice looking 5" tips right behind the rear duals. The "Y" was put right under the rear of the cab and the dual pipes ran all the way to the bumper. Before he done this, he could get 27 lbs. of boost at full throttle. Now he pegs his 30 lb. gauge. Why did this help the boost? He does seem to have a lot more power now than before, along with a "big truck" sound. You sure can hear the turbo spool up and down now!!!!
