Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Most dissappointing:
Why do accessory lights have exposed wiring connectors? Don't these lighting mfgs realize these vehicles get driven outside sometimes? Why aren't these connectors waterproof? Why aren't the lights waterproof? Most of my light housings I've had to work over with silicone so they wouldn't fill with water, and all of them have wiring harnesses that fill with water -- completely exposed. I'm not talking K-Mart specials here, my lights are PIAA and Baja Laser. All my PIAA lights have been leak prone. Not from immersion, from driving in the rain.
What's up with that?
