Just curious to see what everyone has done with their trucks, so add up the most you have ever hauled and your truck too. I'd like to know how much weight these beasts will haul.

:) Didn't sombody awhile back, post that they had hauled a load of grain to the local grain storage and had tipped the scales in the +54,000 range. Seems like it was an older 12 V truck that is used on a farm and they pulled this load for about 20 miles or so.

I think I remember seeing that in the Towing and Hauling forum here a couple of months ago. :)

I've had over 140,000#'s in mine a few times before, man, thats sh!tn' heavy!... ... ... ... ... ... or are ya talkin' 'bout my RAM

Hauling hay, I have had around 20k lbs of hay plus the 26' gooseneck trailer. I also have a '68 John Deer Industrial tractor that I haul with a front end loader on it, not quite sure what it weights, but imagine it is as much or more than the hay.

Morph.

not that much

I don't get that heavy the most on trailer and truck 29500 gross short trip maybe 30 miles and I have pull two gravity wagons (no brakes ) that grossed 25500 just wagons and corn minutes from complete disaster, temp droped and roads iced over at sun down while unloading also short trip 12 miles. The oem hitches can hold more load than they are rated for.

I weighed mine at 17,300 for my (gas)truck. That is with a alaskian slide in camper, trailer and my kubota tractor. I got only 8. 5mpg at 55mph. So you guys that complain about mileage, :( .

This is with a gasser truck. I wish I had found TDR BEFORE I bought my dodge. Live and learn. I know what my next truck will have in it. :D

250,000 lbs!!!!!

I pulled a gooseneck with 1600 gallons of liquid fertilizer and a 1000 gallons hooked on behind it, weighed 45500lbs. Only went 10 miles but it saved me a trip anyhow. Plenty of power but I woudn't want to do it very far, it bucked around a lot. Pulled a loaded semi about a 1/2 mile about 92000lbs, pulled a loaded railcar tank about 75 feet, 19000 gallons of fertilizer, about 250,000 lbs tank and all. I WIN!!!   I voted in the 40k category cause down the road is all that counts.
