towing turbos

Fellers, I love my truck -

we have had a protable AC/DC TV/VCR a number of years and while traveling have always put in back into the original box with the original packing and then put the box in the bathtub ( over the axles).

could I safely mount it in a cabinet or would the vibrations screw up the VCR alignment?

I personally don't think it would be damaged by the travelling. Don't know about your trailer, but I once forgot a glass of water that was left on the refridgerator.

At the end of the trip from Hutchison, KS to Dumas, TX that glass of water was still in the same place.

If you travel over rutted, pot holed roads, maybe I would be concerned, but ordinary travel on paved roads should not bother it. The tandem axels really smooth out those expansion joints.

Try this, have a passenger ride in the coach in the same area the VCR will be. Take a short jaunt around the neighbor hood and get their opinion (or your own if you trust another driver. ;)

I have a 13 inch tv/vcr combo that I have mounted in my 26 ft trvl trl and been to Alaska and back on some really bad roads and to Arizona twice pluss many other trips. No problems so far. Still plays videos and movies like new.

I mounted a 14" TV/VCR using TV grips from Camping World. No problems yet in over two years of use.
