2002 3500 auto stock 10k miles
Can I use the existing bracket from the engine LP mounting when I move the LP to the frame closer to the tank?
I seem to recall that I read somewhere in the TDR threads that the engine LP bracket doubles as a cover plate over an old mechanical fuel pump port. This may or may not be true for my 2002. Any ideas?
If I can not use the engine LP mounting bracket, any ideas where I can get a bracket that I can use to mount the LP to the frame closer to the fuel tank? Diagram, dimensions, material, can have it fabricated locally. This is my mode of transportation so need to do it all at one time, not take the old one off, measure it, get it fabricated, install it.
Just want to use 1 LP in 1 place and have the stock one so I will use that one till it dies. I think the stock one will push fairly well if I read the threads correctly. I am in the process of doing gauges so I can monitor how things are going.
Thanks in advance,
Bob Weis
