I just did a search on fuel milage in combonation with 4. 10 gears and it seems that the eth's get better milage than the etc's. Is this true? I plan on ordering a 2002 2500 reg. cab 4x4 eth with 4. 10's this month. Can I expect to see about 18mpg unloaded on the highway between 65-70mph with this set-up? I will eventually get 285's for the truck which I feel will put me at the ideal ratio, 3. 80's? I want to get this one right. This truck will be my 3rd Dodge, and last one for a long time,to replace my 2001 V-10 5-spd 3. 54 4x4 which seems to me is undergeared for 285's. Please help me make the right decision.
