You are about where you should be for your configuration. I averaged 17 mpg driving around town for the first time on my last tankful. I have got over 21 mpg on the highway driving 58-60 mph but that's pretty slow and not worth the tradeoff in time, at least to me. Towing: 9-11 mpg, depending upon variable geometric pressure to pedal ratio.

Sounds like you got a good rig. I would love to average 12. 5 when I'm towing. I just went to synthetic in the motor which is why I believe my mileage figure went up. Maybe the same will happen while towing.
