Mud Flaps
Royk I had the same problem you did and also wanted to use them with street flares, so ended up buying a pair or hard plastic 'big truck' mud flaps from a truck supply house and making my own.
Started by making a templet from a piece of cardboard to get shape and size. Marked it out on the truck flap and cut with a saber saw. A hint about cutting plastic with a saber saw, put an ice cube on the saw shoe in front of the blade, and it will keep the plastic from melting as you cut. I also used the factory edge of the flap for the out side. They look good and work great. Took about 2 hours to make and install 4. Cost was $9. 50 ea for the 24" X 30" truck flaps. I ended up with 4 flaps ea. 12 X 25 inches
I'll try to post a pix this evening.
