Convoy came out when I was about 6. After watching that clip... I now think I know why I like trucks and diesels. I still think the coolest thing on the road is a black rig with black wheels. That was the show that I would sit in front of the TV and watch as if in a trance.



Saddest thing is however... there is now a commercial on TV with a look-a-like rig and the song is playing. The truck driver tells the others in the convoy to pass him. Much to my disgust... it was a convoy of 3 Buick Rendevous painted black. Ruined the whole song really. Waste of a commercial that should of been used to promote the Cummins 600 Dodge... or any other diesel pickup for that matter.
