Oh well, that didn't work. Tried to post pictures here.

Thank you for posting the picture of my truck. She is my pride and joy. 86 body & frame with 92 aftermarket grille. Had to go with that because the intercooler took up too much room in front of radiator. 86 grille is too deep set. My brother gave me the original 86 D-250 about 4 years ago. Then 2 years ago he and I installed the Cummins diesel from his original 92 W-250, which had been wrecked in the rear. The 86 was a 360 gasser with auto trans, so I bought an auto trans for diesel and we installed the whole package. The rearend is out of the same truck as the motor but was installed a year sooner than the engine. My 16 yearold grandson, Zack, painted the truck for me between January and May of last year in his highschool autobody class at Hatley Mississippi highschool. This truck is a family production and will stay in this family from now on, to be passed down. The paint design is mine. John (JDancoe) on here, is my brother. We even changed over the front "K" cross member to better accept the 4500 lb new springs we installed. Last summer we installed a "Fluidamper" and rear air bags on it. This year I hope to install a disc brake conversion set-up on the rear axle. It is a brute of a truck but gets (unloaded) 24 MPG highway and 20 MPG in town and local driving. Only (heavy) towing I have done with it, was from Phoenix, Az to South Fork, Co. , pulling his 7100 lb travel trailer and it got 9. 9 MPG. The body has 200,000, miles (approx) and the engine has 256,000 miles. We installed the odometer/speedometer from the same truck as the engine. I plan to submit to Cummins for the engine badge one of these days. It wears it's TDR grille badge well. I hope to do a bunch more traveling this year, so if you see me out there, stop and say "HI".

Thanks. Up close, it shows the inexperience, but I love it still. It looks black and white in this photo, but is actually a metalic charcoal and has a fine gold dust in the clearcoat over the pearl while. It changes color according to the way the light hits it.

You may not know it yet, but that truck is hankering for a ride to SW Iowa in June. It needs to meet some of its cousins, brothers and sisters! Every October my truck longs for a ride to Peru Indiana to meet up with old friends. Its hard to keep in home then.

The old girl looks pretty good. It reminds me to get some rocker panels for mine and send it to the paint booth.

I may make it, but can't promise, as I have a pretty full summer planned. I have to be in Dallas, Tx. for the 1st through the 3rd of June. After that, I usually end up in South Fork, Co. for the summer. We will have to see what happens. A lot depends on fuel prices. I am trying to put enough money together to do the Five Points Tour, but don't know if that will happen either. What would be real fun, would be to get several TDR members to do the Tour together. I will try to figure out if I can get to Iowa between now and then. Will let you know if it looks good or not. It would be fun.

I'm just poking you a little. I do hope you can swing by, I know all about fuel prices. I usually like to haul a pulling truck around southern Iowa and Northern Missouri, but when its easy to blow $100-150 just for fuel, its hard to make all the pulls. At least empty running you get good mileage. 10 is what mine gets on the trailer too.
